Went together in 15 min. If you have ever built anything you can build this chair. All metal internal frame means no threads pulling out of particle board. The best part for me is how high the seat is from the floor. I’m 6 ft tall with a 31 in inseam. Most chairs like these have me sitting on my tailbone with my thighs unsupported off the seat with my feet on the floor. This chair fits comfortably with my long inseam. Fully supported with feet flat. It recline nicely but the lower part extended is a bit short in length. But not a problem as I use an ottoman. Swivels smoothly and the arms are low enough for electric guitar playing and high enough to use. The cup holder is placed well out of the way but not out ofreach. Overall worth the price. Prior to ordering, I did not realize how much I would miss being able to roll my chair. It can be moved when not sitting in it, but where you sit in it is where it is gonna stay. I wish this product changed only the base because the chair is great in every other way. The instructions were mildly confusing and there were times where following the instructions was difficult. I probably wouldn't order this again just because of the stationary base. **Update: I have since replaced the base with a rolling base. The manufacturer does not recommend it, but I've tested it quite a bit, and it works great, even when the chair is fully extended. I will warn that if you want to do what I did, do it before installing the base that comes with this product. The stationary base is much harder to Uninstall than a traditional one. ... show more

Ok just got chair today... first issue is I ordered and paid for 2 but only got 1. Waiting for seller to contact I will update that later. Assembly wasn't as bad as reviews say but I build plastic injection molds so I'm quite mechanical. Chair is very well built I have this in my man cave in the garage. It's a little stiff but super comfy. If you don't use the lumbar pillow it allows you to sit back further. I have nothing negative to say. For the price it seems well worth it solid sturdy construction now we will see how it holds up I have no issues with staples coming out or material being ripped and it does sit quite higher than I thought not sure about the reviews that said otherwise I'm 5'10 and it fits me perfect....will update about second chair and if I have any issues with quality oh and cupholder is big enough to hold a beer in a stainless coozy👍 so seller responded that 2nd chair hasn't shipped wait a few days. That was their response. After again contacting Amazon they said it will be delivered next week. I do not have a lot of confidence with this seller and I don't know why they couldn't just say we made a mistake and your 2nd chair will be delivered asap seems like an easy answer...will update further if I ever get my other chair. Ok so just got second chair 2 weeks after the first. I had to threaten to cancel order and return the first chair before I got a decent response from them. As far as whoever covers their shipping products they suck. I've owned one of these chairs for about a week now. Assembly was a little confusing even with the diagrammed instructions but I eventually worked it out. So far the chair seems very solid. It *does* sit rather low to the floor. It does not have a hydraulic lift for raising and lowering it. That made it seem odd to me at first but I'm getting used to it. I would not recommend this chair for computer work at a desk requiring proper posture. Instead I feel more like that guy feeling the wind from his speakers in that now-classic Maxell audiocassette ad from the 1980s. I call it my "Captain's Chair". One unexpected and positive surprise was the lack of need for something to go between the chair and my carpet - because it doesn't roll around like a typical desk chair. The footrest would be better if it raised higher but I have an Ottoman for resting my feet, so no problem. This chair is perfect for watching movies and videos while seated in the midst of a set of 5.1 surround sound speakers. ... show more

It’s really not a bad chair. It’s hard as crap to assemble. But the precious video of the spring and handle helped tremendously. It’s not as big as it looks. I’m 5’4 200lbs and it fits comfortably. My husband is 6’2, (idk how much he weights maybe 220?) and it’s a little small especially the reclining part. But he’s happy with it so I’m happy with it! ... show more

I’m going to start off that it is better then the office chair I was using but, this chair is pretty sucky it doesn’t recline as much as it does in the pictures, the instructions don’t make the most sense (literally just a picture ) and every time I’m sitting in it it feels like the whole chair is going to fall down, it’s loud as hell since it’s leather rubbing against leather to recline, also their was a cut on my right out of the packaging, it’s covered behind the armrest now so I can’t see it, but once leather is ripped it’ll keep ripping so that’s crappy. honestly wish I didn’t spend 200$+ on this but it’s too much of an inconvenience to take it apart and try and get a refund (I’ll update if the pillows rip off or if anything breaks )) ... show more

Let’s Start By Saying It’s Not A Bad Chair. But It Does Have Some Cons. For One The Assembly, You Have Like 8 Different Screws And Comes With A Allen Wrench, The Hardest Part Was Putting The Arm Rest On ( The Second Picture ) You Have To Squeeze Your Hand Between The Chair And The Arm Rest And Its Nearly Impossible, Unless You Had A Straight Allen Wrench. The Other Con For Me Was The Staples From The Arm Rest Was Coming Out The Second Week Having It . ( No Was Not Ripped And Tore ) I Thought They Could Of At Least Sewn It. But Other Than That Its Comfy My Boyfriend Loves It And His Pillows That Came With It For Neck And Back Support. ... show more
