The media could not be loaded. Just got my new HS900 Drone - WOW! First impressions: sturdy, good documentation. New app has informative videos, console fits phone flat in front and includes cables to hook phone to console. Console speaks and provides information during flight. The phone does not get in the way of your fingures being in that location. I also have a 175D, this is easier to calibrate and flies right from the first liftoff. Took my HS900 for an initial spin this afternoon. A few observations: - having the ability to connect your phone to the controller by a wire is great. No fooling around with WiFi. Screen information easy to read. -11mph winds and 22 mile gusts and no wind movement. Flew at 300 ft. For almost two miles. The first video is attached - very pleased with quality for a novice photographer. -Response to commands were immediate to turn drone and increase speed. -Gimbal is stable and responsive. Even with the wind - picture is stable. -Return to home performed as promised. - 25 minutes of flight and still had time left! - Ordering a second battery as soon as they come available. This is an exceptional drone. I’ve only flown a 175D and the difference Is dramatic. First flight 10 out of 10. This is the best Holy Stone has released. Competes well with some of the big boys. ... show more

The flight range and battery life are nothing compared to what’s advertised. Once the battery entered into low battery mode during the flight (15 minutes after a full charge) it flew itself straight up and died, free falling approximately 120 feet. This is unacceptable. Do not buy this drone. Value: Poor Weight: about the only thing positive about it is it is light. Performance: not as advertised. Ease of use: it is easy to control, but when it dies after 15 minutes of use mid flight, that doesn’t matter much. I would share a video, but I couldn’t make it past a 15 minute test flight. ... show more

The drone and camera are pretty cool. I have a lot of fun flying it around in sports mode, weaving, sharp turns, quick ascension, etc. and it has good range and feels stable. The camera can sometimes have a tilt to it on the horizon, sometimes I can correct this by rotating the drone, but not always. Occasionally the app will freeze up, hopefully this gets fixed with an update soon. I initially had an issue with the batteries not charging, but found out I wasn’t using the right kind of charger block. I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful, said I needed either a 5v 3a or 9v 2a block. My thoughts are for the price it should include the charger block, especially if the batteries are finicky. Overall a very good drone, I look forward to flying it more ... show more

I am beyond impressed with the Holy Stone HS900. The first thing I noticed was how solid and well-built it feels right out of the box—definitely not a “toy” drone. The setup was quick, and within minutes I was flying smoothly. The GPS lock is spot-on, which makes flights stable and reliable even on breezy days. The camera quality is fantastic for this price range, with crisp video and sharp photos that really capture detail. The return-to-home feature works flawlessly, giving me peace of mind whenever the drone gets a little far out. Battery life is solid, and having multiple flight modes makes it perfect whether I want to practice simple maneuvers or get cinematic footage. What surprised me most was how user-friendly it is. Even as someone who isn’t a professional pilot, I felt confident flying it after just one session. This drone strikes the perfect balance between performance, features, and value. The HS 900 from Holy Stone is an absolutely amazing drone for the price. The features, functionality and results are on part with drones costing 3x times as much. So easy to use and it takes stunning video like a pro. Automatic take off, aim at your subject and it will fly around it or fly backing up and away recording 4K video... all automatically! iPhone app has links to how to videos for the HS900 drone inside the app so no need read the manual. Watch out DJI, Holy Stone is coming for you! I have had this drone for about two months and I have no complaints. ... show more

I purchased n January 25 looking for a high quality camera for scenery and inspection pictures. I returned the first one because of the glitchy video feed and very short battery life (10 min). I received the replacement and found the exact same. After 15-20 flights the battery is still around 10 mins. The major issue is I charge it fully (4 lights) and after it sits a few days the battery is down to 2 lights without using it. Video is still glitching with a random fly away. ... show more
