This is my first drone. I was scared to fly it at first because I suppose it’s so small and fragile looking but honestly its easy to use with customized control settings, altitude is controllable for a setting and other awesome software options. I put a 400 GB card in it and actually crashed it into a tree flying too low on accident and it was perfectly ok. I had 2 crashes. Makes sure to put the battery in until you hear it snap in. I failed that and luckily at about 5 feet alititude doing my preflight inspection it lost power and dropped on cement. Still perfect and no damage to it. With the tree crash I had to replace two propellers, which this purchase came with extras just for this purpose. It was easy to replace them with the included tool. As a first drone, flight control is great, and controls are easy to understand right away just after a few minutes of preflight inspection procedures. 4k camera is awesome, the gimble calibration is great and you have options for video and picture quality’s in a wide range. Drone is fast and also has a stable mode for beginners and making dramatic media clips. Drone is small and I doubt anyone can spot it at a glance during flight. Remember to get your safety certificate and understand all the applicable laws in your area before flying. I will definitely give this a five star. Battery life is about 30 minutes depending on how you fly. I don’t mind that at all, and I also purchased two extra batteries and a speed charger for longer flights. Batteries are durable and mine withstood a fall from about 5 feet. Make sure to inspect your craft if that happens before flying. Overall five stars for first time drone pilot and I will purchasing more of these in the future! Product comes with a small carrying case and can be used with an IPhone or Android device. Great drone for the money. But the battery is absolute trash. I will charge it full. Take it out of the drone. And leave it in the case. Over two days it drops to half power not even connected. It is also hot for no reason. Since this drone is an off brand. There is no aftermarket replacement battery. Even the extra batteries Holystone sells all have the same problem. I would avoid this model until the manufacturer fixes the battery issues. Which they will not. Don’t buy! ... show more

Amazing drone. I have had a few drones before but this is the BEST "economical" one I've purchased to date. Pros: Very fun and easy to fly, controls work great, good build quality - feels solid, it's nice they use a cable to link to your phone now - easier and reliable, SD recorded picture/video quality is excellent in 4K, gimbal works very well holding shots steady, it's crazy small when packed in the included case (case included is awesome), convenient being under 250g - less legal stuff to worry about, their app has improved a lot over the years, decent battery runtime for the size, moves pretty quick in sport mode, nice you can also take photos while recording video, return to home works great - but won't avoid obstacles, set your RTH height setting for the surrounding area. Cons: Additional batteries are expensive, batteries seem to discharge themselves a LiPo "storage level" when not used for a while - not sure if this is good or bad, it may allow the batteries to last longer stored but you always need to top off your battery before a flight, at high speeds recordings can be a little jittery - if going for the best video quality need to slow down. This is an amazing value for a drone, especially if you can pick it up on an amazon sale/prime day. The size makes it easy to take anywhere, just throw it in a backpack and go. ... show more

This is my third Holystone Drone and by far the easiest to set up and fly, it's just about plug and play. Only issue is a spare battery, can't find them here on Amazon which make me nervous for support.

I am still learning the drone, but as a confirmed grumpy genxer who is typically suspicious of technology, I can say it's user friendly. I have flown it a few times and am happy with the controls and user friendliness of it. There was a bit of a thing getting the closed for the app, turns out I needed to check my spam folder. I bought this to save potential broken bones as I love petroglyphs and such, so now I am learning the camera interface. Use the directions given, and research this one independently...as a basic drone it does get good reviews. I bought the second battery for it and am happy that I did. I think that I will get plenty of enjoyment out of this for a long time. ... show more

two starts because i never got to use the product but quick product support transmitter dead on arrival, spoke to customer serviced, asked to wait over two weeks for replacement from warehouse it was a birthday gift and it was disappointing i don't know if i will try again, maybe go for a bigger brand with physical store nearby to get one and test it out ... show more

This drone is so much fun to fly... I love everything about it. It is so responsive, runs about 25 minutes on a charge. I kicked it up to 1000' the other day and was amazed at the quality of the 4K video. It does take a minute or 2 to sync up with the controller... But, I found a process which works consistently. First, power on the drone. Second power on the controller and wait until the green led appears. Finally, plug in my iPhone. I close all open apps... then, open the HS app and it locks in to GPS. I always wait until the app recognizes the drone... Off I go... So much fun. ... show more

I am super sad because I have seen all of the videos on YouTube and not only that but spent a little bit more money on this drone however I can’t even get them to pair. It just won’t have tried everything just to be let down. I know Holystone puts out very good drones since I own the HS360 but really thinking about never buying another. Help!!! ... show more
