I have a little old chihuahua and she loves to burrow. I tossed a tiny pillow and a blanket in this and she has barely left it since lol she has a nice warm little cave to hide in. The zip off top is a nice feature also. I'd recommend this for sure.

It took some convincing. Our little guy wasn't used to a roof over his bed, but we go camping in the fall and want him to stay warm. Had to put his bed inside the house until he started going in on his own. Now he loves it.

Hollypet Cozy Petbed house is perfect for my outside cat. It is self warming but I have added a scrap of shoft fuzzy fabric inside the house for "bedding" that I can remove and wash in the machine. The bed padding it comes with could be washed but has foam inside and always comes out in a ball after washing in a machine. Take my previous experience, you don't want to do that, just spot clean with soap water and a washcloth. My cat stays out all night and she is always in her house when I get up, keeps her warm and sheltered. It is foam and fabric that is linen like in texture, not waterproof, so I keep it on my covered porch for her to sleep in. Love it! ... show more

I bought this for my puppy. it is not for a large dog, maybe a chihuahua mix breed size. it was easy for my dog to climb on top and when it does it flattens out but luckily retrained her not to do that. It never lost its shape though. i washed it with no problems. the only thing was the squared cushion's filling did get folded and distorted but i was able to easily put it back into place with no issue. i dont put it in the dryer at all. i like that you can unzip the top to let it breathe and then zip it back up easily. ... show more

Got this for my extremely anxious small dog, he was okay with it but not in love. My roommate’s cat got in it one time and claimed it as his. So now he has a new bed that he loves to hide in! The bottom cushion is a little flat so you might need to add some stuffing or another cushion.
