Despite the horrific color name, "rat tail green", this soft sage cooling comforter has provided next-level comfort on hot nights. I purchased a king comforter for a queen bed, and it goes to the floor on both sides of my bed. Silky soft, the comforter feels like it has been in the refrigerator and draws off body heat. I docked a star for two annoying features. The cooling material is so silky it slides all to one side and even off onto the floor completely even though it hangs to the floor on both sides. Also, when pulling the comforter back into place, you can feel the interior fluff tear sometimes -- I'm not sure how durable this blanket will be in the long run. Overall, the blanket provides significant cooling on warm, humid nights. We love being able to have the weight of a comforter with no extra warmth. Recommended.

This comforter is super soft and really helps keep me cool at night. I used to wake up hot and sweaty, but not anymore. It feels light and comfortable, and the material is smooth, breathable, and nice on the skin. I sleep much better now. Easy to wash too. If you get hot while sleeping, I definitely recommend this cooling comforter.

It does serves the purpose at regulating while maintaining the temperature throughout the night especially for hot sleepers like myself. I feel snookered. The write-up shouted BAMBOO for cooling comfort. I have bamboo sheets, which I find cooler than cotton and certainly cooler than polyester. Bamboo has a porous fiber structure that facilitates exceptional airflow, outperforming cotton and synthetics in airflow tests. Bamboo fibers rapidly pull sweat away from the skin, reducing clamminess. I hope you read more carefully than I did. Only 5% of the filing is bamboo. Although it is well made, with fine stitching, it is almost entirely made of plastic (polyester). I didn't find it cooling at all.

This comforter came packed safely sealed and in great condition. It is lightweight, soft, and cool to the touch. I was a bit disappointed that the bamboo material is part of the core instead of the surface since bamboo material is said to be exceptional soft and smooth with anti-microbial properties. However, having a nylon outer fabric instead of bamboo is probably what keeps this comforter’s price affordable. And, I believe this makes it easier to wash and maintain. The nights here are currently around 80 degrees Fahrenheit (no air conditioning) and the comforter is a nice solution to to create an initial cool experience before sleeping and then providing warmth later in the sleep cycle.

This "cooling comforter" feels like it is just a giant sleeping bag that you don't zip up. That is the exact type of material that it is, only it is thinner. Yes, it feels cool to the touch when you first lay under it but it quickly heats up to your body temp, like a sleeping bag does. My dogs do like it because of the silky feeling so I gave it 3 stars for that because what my dogs like is important to me. For myself though, I took away 2 stars. It does not have a genuine "cooling" effect for me.
