I purposely waited to write a review knowing these would become my travel shoes. Oh boy… they do not disappoint!! I purchased these in March 2023 and they have been all over Italy, Spain, France and several trips here in the US. I wear these just about every day as my daily drivers so to speak and they are fantastic!! Super supportive, comfortable and cushiony. I have a bad back and leg pain and these are tremendously helpful. I highly recommend wearing balega socks, specifically the blister ones, with them. Best combo ever!! I only wear Hoka Clifton’s now!!

These sneakers are exactly what I had been looking for. I am not a sportsy person, but I try to get my walks and steps in. Talking to a friend, I told her my knees were hurting and my feet needed more support and I was looking for sneakers with good grip as well and she told me to look for Hokas because her orthopedic doctor had recommended them to her… so I had heard of the brand before and even though they are expensive… my future knee surgery would be more expensive… so I bought this pair, also she advised to get them at least 1/2 size bigger than I thought because feet keep growing as we age and I was possibly getting shoes that were too small… so I did. I am very happy with these shoes! I love the feel and springy step they give me when I walk- they support my arches and overall my feet are less tired than before! I hope to get many good walks from them. Enjoy!

PROS: 1. Beautiful shoe, loved the colors! 2. VERY lightweight. 3. VERY spongy and comfortable (on the bottom). CONS: 1. I wear a size 11 and never had an issue buying shoes that are a regular width. These are on the narrow side abd the instep is tight. 2. I think these are overpriced honestly. 3. My big toe hit the end of the shoe. 4. Shoe strings seems shorter than normal. I returned them. Too bad, I really wanted to wear these beautiful shoes.

Why my title said most expensive shoes I’ve ever purchased, but I am really glad that I purchased them. They do hold up to the hype that your feet do not hurt after standing for a long day. Wore them to Disney World and didn’t have a trouble at all now I wear them to and from work my only complaint is that the back that helps you get them on has kind of broken down a little and it’s hard to get back up sometime.

The first thing I noticed was that the shipping box was so light, I thought they sent it without the contents. But my size 9.5 shoes were both in there. Almost weightless!! The colors were more vibrant than in the screen image. They were already laced up which is nice. Don't always get that. But the most important thing is how they felt on my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and am almost always in some degree of pain from my left heel. When I tied these on and stood up . . . no pain. WHAAAT?? When I started walking around I felt a little soreness, but honestly no pain. I don't know when I have been more delighted with a purchase.

I walk 20 miles per week on asphalt trails. This shoe came highly recommended for someone with hallux rigidus. I loved them the first two weeks. No pain at all going 2-4 miles per day. With week three came all of the warnings in other reviews. The sole traction strips are falling off one by one. Still no pain but I am concerned about slipping when they are ultimately gone. Shame on me for spending $200 on these when others gave warning. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.
