The camera itself seems to work fine and it came with the flashlight and microphone along with a charging cable for both. My problem is that on the picture it shows a completely different size battery than what it uses and included. I bought this camera specifically because I wanted a 4k camera that uses the same batteries as my 2.7 k camera I bought earlier this year. I am highly disappointed in the false advertising as I have a surplus of the larger 3.7 volt batteries and now they are useless for this camera and I have to buy all new ones. ... show more

**update from my 3 star experience into a full 5! After voicing my concerns with the product, cellar reached out and was very professional and understanding. The courtesy that they showed was beyond stellar! ** It's a typical starter camera or "don't need to do too much camera" for filming. I like the setup, it's obviously not super durable material but it's a $70 camera so what are you really expecting. My biggest gripe was the fact that the flashlight needs a "LHon battery 18650" but nowhere in the description does it say that you need to purchase one separately. It can shoot in different formats 4k, 2.7, 1080 ect... and it lightweight for easy travel. I'm an actor so I mainly need it for shooting auditions and it does the job. If you're looking to do more entwined things with the camera this just isn't it. This is a simple, family picnic / reunion, auditioning, X tape, kind of camera. ... show more

    • IR camera/Webcam that can't use IR in Webcam mode

Bought to use as a Webcam with Infrared capability. It can only use infrared when recording to SD card though. Turn on Webcam mode and loses the function to film in IR. Basically useless to me. Might work for someone who doesn't need the Webcam function to have night vision.

I liked everything that came with the camera two batteries flashlight for night vision and microphone but the sound was very low in the camera and I could not find the batteries for the flashlight. Also the quality of the video was not 4K. My older 720 P camera has much better video quality than this one ... show more

This camera will fall short of the expectations of serious videographers. I don't need to say that but I want to make it clear to everyone that this camera is not going to perform the way top-selling name brands do. It is a fantastic toy, however. It's a very easy-to-use video camera. It's a great way for any novice videographer to get their first experiences using a camera. I think you'll find that what this camera lacks in image quality, it makes up in providing newcomers the same basic functions and performances that should sell this product as an excellent learning tool. I suggest keeping this camera in mind as a second back-up or even third-ranked camera for serious shoots. If it's all those memories of a birthday party or family vacation that you want to capture, this camera will do fine. It's more of a toy but you'll make quality memories with it so long as you're not expecting your videos to look like a high-budget Hollywood film. I didn’t find a lot to like with this. It looks like an older style video camera, but it’s so tiny that getting at the controls is difficult. The photo shows the compartment where you put the SD card and pc cable. The pc cable is a very old type, so pay attention and don’t lose the cable. The SD card slot is at the outer edge of the unit and once put in, it’s so close to the edge that I needed a needle nose to get them out. I tried different cards, reversed them in case they were in the wrong way. Instructions were not clear and they fit both ways. I found that if the card is flush at the bottom, it is correctly placed and can be formatted per instructions. The other way resulted in it sticking out just a bit, this is the wrong way. Make sure the SD card lock is positioned correctly (internet look-up ‘SD card lock/unlock’). I didn’t try to use it as an internet camera and didn’t try the external microphone or the light either, but see no reason why they shouldn’t work. I couldn’t justify buying this for myself because it’s so tiny that it’s difficult to hold and manipulate the controls. ... show more
