I bought this for my five-year-old son as a birthday gift. While it's a bit challenging for him to build on his own, his parents found the challenge enjoyable. Unfortunately, a small piece broke when he grabbed it. I contacted customer service via email, and they responded within 24 hours, just as promised. After a few exchanges, they shipped a replacement along with some extra pieces, which finally arrived. Though the process took some time, I was impressed with their commitment to customer satisfaction. Compared to similar Lego products, this one is about a third of the price and well worth the purchase. I highly recommend it!

This was a super fun build for my 5 year old... However, the lift doesn't really fit the cars stuck together, the tunnel doesn't allow a real lego person to ride without getting knocked off, the bricks don't stay together like lego and don't attempt to move it once constructed without gluing everything... Honestly, I figured all this was true before I bought it, but still 4/5.

This is such a cool kit. The roller coaster itself works, and the little lift-up ramp is a neat feature, too. We have had it on our living room coffee table for 2 months because it’s so cool, lol. When my kid has play dates, the other LEGO-loving parents always comment on how cool it is, too. We built this with our 5 year old. He can do LEGO kits labeled for 6+ by himself, but needed to work together with us on this because there are so many pieces—we had to help him find them, and some of the positioning was a a little difficult for him. But there were definitely parts that he was able to do by himself, with some corrections from us from time to time. If you are buying this for a young kid, be prepared to help, but iIt was an absolutely great set to do together and bond. The quality matches that of LEGO. I wouldn’t have been able to tell it was not official LEGO if I hadn’t bought it.

My grandson really wanted this and builds with Legos all the time. This was a waste of money. It doesn’t snap together very tightly, so any light touch and the thing breaks apart and you have to start over. The company contacted me and gave me a refund which I appreciated. I would suggest if you buy this kit which is very cute that it is made by an older child and is glued together. I appreciate their customer service.

Updated: Amazon replaced the first set we got. The pieces stuck together better in this set, however, we were still missing several pieces. HOGO company contacted me directly and worked with me to figure out a solution. In the end they refunded me for the set. They were super responsive and took feedback about their product, and I think are trying to improve their product. Worthing trying a direct set and seeing if all the pieces come in that set and if not, they seemed to have great costumer service and would take care of you if something was wrong with the set. ***** I wanted to write this review to help parents like me are in search of a cheaper option than LEGOS. This was our first try with this brand, so maybe we just got a lemon box, but we are only 1/2 way done building it and 7 pieces have been missing. Luckily, most of them we could find in our previous LEGO sets, but we got to one we don’t have and are stuck. I gave in, blowing the cover that it was from Santa, and asked for a replacement. The other issue is the pieces come apart too easy. I know legos can be a pain to get apart when you are done with a set or building, so I thought this might be a pro for hogo kids. However, you barely touch a tower and it comes apart or the cloud rocket thing and it comes apart. It was frustrating for me, but it was devastating for my daughter (10 yrs old) working on it. We had to pause for a week for her to regain hope to come try it again. Normally, she breezes through LEGO sets on her own. In the end, I am not sure it is worth it as a cheaper version of LEGOs… when we get the replacement, we will see if it was a lemon box or if that is just how they all are.

The quality of these are every bit as good as Legos. I was nervous because I am a true Lego fan, however a Lego comparable kit was $90 and up. Great find! Feedback for the instruction book, the pieces that are navy blue show up very dark so to choose the correct pc when needed, it is challenging. Otherwise the instructions are easy enough to follow. My 6 year old, with very little help, put it together. He has put a lot of Lego kits together, so if a 6 year old is new to this type of project, it may be difficult as a starter kit. Thank you for this product! I am a believer!
