Boys loved it. Great value. My son enjoyed it as a bday gift. It wasn’t missing any pieces and they had a ton of fun building it. I wil say that the pieces don’t *quite* fit as smoothly as L3G0 pieces but hence the price difference.

Pieces are hard to get together. Overall look and quality is good. It looks just as described. This was a great value for the mo ey. We had fun playing with it and putting it together, with the struggle to get them snapped a disappointment. There were pieces missing and no way to contact the seller. We dis without the parts of the rail car, or adlibbed with other parts, but it would have been nice to get all parts.

This build actually took me two sessions. This thing is big, about a small work table large. The shore at the start of the build is a bit unstable and a pain to make, but by the time you get the large plates in that make the road of the dock in place you're working with a stable design. Everything here is minifigure scale, and has parts to be removed to place figures around in them. The crane, the train, the cars, the cargo and the boat are all unique and time consuming builds. The crane works excellently but you don't get the hook until the end when you build the cargos. After building the dock you make the boat, it's pretty simple but overall it exist as a perfect storage for all the cargo crates you make (4). The train was the most time/complicated for me, very repetitive and the entire thing is brick built which makes a cute train cabin and cargo platform, it fits fine on the rails, though the rails exist more so you can attach this to your own city/train, also you could orient the track however you want against the dock, I leave it deattached. The last part of the build it's the truck and that is fine, a simple truch which exists to load a cargo container, you can fit two of them sideways on it if you had to. The cargo is my favorite thing about this set, included with each transport is a cargo box, containing a minifigure scale "thing" the thing in all cases actually just sits loose or tight in the cargo box, meaning technically you can put anything in the box, swap things around, put any crate on any transport etc. How this is built, you have in total 4 crates, one has a propane tank, and another has a bunch of loose fruits and such. The ship can carry all four containers, the train can carry 2, and as I said the truck can carry two but technically you could have fun and unrealistically stack the containers in any funny way without using the crane, so this is both a great functional playset, but also an inspiring city prop, that can very easily sit in anyone's larger city display. Overall great set, comes with a massive variety of things to build or play with, this is one of the greatest sets I've ever built.

My 4-year-old needed help with this set, but once his cousins got involved, it turned into a fun little group project. The build is definitely better suited for older kids or parent-guided play, but once it’s assembled, there’s a ton to do. The ship, crane, and train setup opens up lots of imaginative play beyond just racing cars. The pieces are sturdy and stayed together during play, and my son especially loved the moving crane. Great for kids who are into vehicles or construction themes, just don’t expect a full independent build at this age.

This set has potential but serious quality control issues. Missing pieces forced us to reorder after my son spent hours building. The instruction manual is unclear in several sections, making assembly unnecessarily difficult for kids. The working crane feature is nice but doesn't make up for incomplete packaging and confusing directions. At this price point, basic things like piece count accuracy should be guaranteed. Hard to recommend when you might need to buy it twice.
