The Hodedah 2-Door Armoire with 2-Drawers is constructed of sturdy, durable, top quality wood. Features a laminated finish in a variety of colors. It has two doors that easily open to a spacious wardrobe. Behind two doors, it is equipped with a hanging garment bar that is the width of closet. The bottom of the closet has two drawers which have metal runners and safety stops that will keep the drawer firmly in place when it is fully opened.

All of the above - not good in quality, sturdiness, assembly, and definitely a waste time and money. We opened up the super heavy box. Everything is made with cheap particle board, so many of the edges were chipped or the white paint already separating. Tapping in the hard, plastic dowels with a rubber mallet made the boards crack, then when trying to follow the instructions, many of the pre-drilled holes were either backwards, on the wrong side of the board or missing all together. There were a couple pieces where the white paint had been applied to the wrong side of the board. When my husband and I tried to stand the shelf upright (the instructions have you start it laying on the ground flat to build) all the screws ripped through the particle board, completely damaging the majority of the shelf and us getting scraped up a bit. I have put together a wide spectrum of furniture from high quality to not the best, and this was the absolute worst piece of furniture I’ve ever bought anywhere. Now I have a huge, heavy pile of broken particle board that Amazon wants me to repack and lug somewhere to return it (even though it’s totally ruined) and I’m out a good chunk of money. I’ve learned my lesson to stop buying cheap furniture off Amazon. ... show more

I read the reviews and I am glad I read them after I bought it. We had no issue putting it together with the instructions. It took just over an hour and we were just taking our time. If you have a gap on the doors when done, there is an adjustment feature to fix that in like two minutes. Ours had the gap, a little adjusting, perfect. We are using it for a baby closet so the size is fine but I could see how adult hangers would not fit. I would buy it again. Perfect for what I need and the cost. I made the big mistake of not looking at the reviews when I purchased the product! When I received the package the styrofoam was broken and all over the product and bits of the wood was beat up (thankfully not visible from the frontbor sides in my case) . The build was a pain and I had only noticed towards the end of the build that one of my drawer parts was damaged to the point I needed to either return it (disassembling this pain would suck) or contact the company support from the contact number or email available on the manual ... luckily they will send you a replacement if that is the case but contacting took more than the 3 business days they say it'll take until I got a response (most likely due to covid) and they were more than happy enough to send me a replacement which arrived in less than a week ... show more

    • Really Wanted to Love This Piece

I have a dresser by this same company from the same product line as well. I bought the dresser from another site though (You might even say I bought it in a "Fair Way") so I was excited to see a matching wardrobe. Yes, I knew I'd have to put it together and yes I knew it was MDF, not real wood. I was okay with both of those facts and overall, it meets my expectations. But there are 2 glaring errors in my opinion: 1. Adjusting the doors to get them to meet in the middle is proving to be quite the "trial and error" endeavor. I wish it were easier or rather that this was easier to put together. There are simply too many steps that have to go perfectly to assure it all comes together correctly. 2. One of the side pieces on the drawer was backward. Effectively, I have to "right side" pieces for the drawer instead of a right and a left. As a result, the unfinished edge is up/visible and the finished edge is not visible. Overall, this piece could have been made better. There are some parts where it seems the manufacturer really splurged and fabricated quality parts and others feel cheap. the handles and drawer pulls are all cheap plastic. But, you get what you pay for and if you want a really good Wardrobe, I'd argue against this one. If you're just starting out or trying to furnish a room for cheap then this is the way to go. It's okay for the price, but you're better off spending a little more money for a better quality wardrobe. ... show more

This was simple to put together. The instructions were easy to understand. I put it together by myself within 45 mins without any issues. It's extremely heavy in the box - it took everything the UPS driver and myself to unload from the truck to the garage! From there, I removed one piece at a time and took inside to assemble. It looks great, holds quite a bit of clothing, and is sturdy. I did have to get smaller hangers for the couple of suits and jackets I have hanging in it because a normal wooden hanger is a little to wide unless you hang it at an angle, but then you lose a little storage space doing so. ... show more

    • If you have 5 hours to spend on assembly
The instructions for this piece are so horribly written and when I say bad, I mean REALLY BAD. I spent about 5 hours assembling this piece because I had to go back and remove a few pieces because the directions aren’t clear as to which way things should face or lay. You have to squint looking at the poorly drawn diagrams to figure it out and it’s highly likely your best guess will always be wrong. It’s comical how poor the directions are. I had plenty of left over hardware, I must’ve gotten some of the other people’s pieces LOL OUTSIDE OF THAT, it is a sturdy quality piece. I’m pleased with the outcome. ... show more
