my madden flight was not to bad a little to windy about 5 mph wind. On my first landing it bounced once then hit the propeller and snapped the motor shaft in half. Leaving it useless. All so if your buying it for the safe trainer package you need to buy more parts before you can fly it on your computer. Thanks to Amozon for a fast return.. This is an amazing first plane. I purchased the RTF version, everything came ready to go, and even though it was my first plane, I had it in the air in the day i got it. The flight simulator it came with also helped me build confidence to fly it, and seemed pretty realistic. It is smaller then other planes but it trucked through light winds for me (8ish mph gusts). I crashed mildly hard it a couple times into grass, but the plane was completely fine. The speed of the plane is pretty good, it is a great speed for small park flying or at sport fields as advertised. ... show more

Easy to fly, but the directions are not good. Binding transmitter to airplane is difficult. This plane is very easy to fly. I'm an experienced RC pilot and have flown just about everything. This is a good park flyer and good for beginners. I didn't like the instructions. They referred you to other instructions that are not included. I had trouble binding the transmitter to the receiver in the plane. I think I finally found the procedure which is not to hold down the throttle stick, but simply push it down momentarily while turning the unit on then let go of the throttle stick. This is not made clear in the directions, or in videos I could find online. The plane fly longer, I set a timer for six minutes and worked on a landing at that point. ... show more

This is a great little park flyer that is RTF with everything in the box. The remote was already bound to the aircraft. You need to have calm winds to fly this plane. I was able to hand launch and take off from a dirt roads with ease. I got 6-8 minutes flights with reduced throttle. My biggest dissapointment was the included USB charger stopped working after doing about 6-7 charges. ... show more

Flies like an absolute dream on any mode, handles some decent wind like an absolute beast. In my opinion literally the perfect first airplane. very high quality for the price point, and has a decent battery life of about 15 minutes if you conserve power well.     • Cheap fragile prop design
Prop is so fragile it’s ridiculous. Overpriced replacements are not worth it. Get the volantex rc with the prop saver design. It has more power too.
