The media could not be loaded. This quadcopter comes with basic instructions, 2 sets of extra blades, charging jacks for the controller and batteries, two rechargeable 2000mAh batteries, controller with screen and 8 GB micro SD card, SD card reader to USB-A, IR collision sensor, and a case. This does have brushless motors which is nice and energy efficient. You'll get about 20 minutes flight time on each battery. Strangely the remote charges with a USB-C and the batteries charge with a micro USB. The obstacle avoidance can be attached to the top or you can fly without it. It does work indoors, but can struggle sensing objects in heavy sunlight. When using the obstacle avoidance it will pull away a little bit about a meter away from the obstacle and the controller beeps. This can be turned on or off from the controller. The drone flies pretty well for the class of drone it is. It stays level and movements are roughly proportional to controller inputs. It is pretty easy to fly, but still a bit difficult in tight spaces. When turning on the remote you will have to turn on the main power to connect to the drone and a separate power button for the attached screen. It is very difficult to fly using only the screen because of lag and camera quality/resolution. It is really cool to have the screen on the remote, but it is pretty small and sometimes difficult to make out objects on the screen. The SD card goes into the remote and allows for recording, so it will record at the quality of what you see on the screen. I did some recording from the drone camera (which moves up and down from the controller) and it is a kind of blurry and a bit distorted when playing it back. It was nice that they include a USB reader for your computer. I used it and it works, but I was a little disappointed to find out you can't play back anything on the remote screen unless it is connected to the drone. It is a fun feature, but you won't be making high quality videos from this. The overall quality is better than expected at this price point and is a great value, but this is really just a beginner toy to get started in this hobby. It is worth picking this up as a present for a child or if you think this might be a hobby you want to get into by first trying it without a huge investment. The rating I give on this is based on three main points. It works and is flyable (big deal because some of these cheap drones are worthless in this area), has features like the screen on the remote and collision detection, and the low price.

This drone is pretty much exactly what I thought it would be. For the price it does everything it says it does in the product description. I had never flown a drone like this before so I wanted to try something that I wouldn't regret crashing a few times. While I did bump into a fence once, it was fairly easy to control, take off, and land without much difficulty. It's small enough and light enough to avoid any regulatory issues. The biggest drawback would be its lack of GPS positioning, so it gets pulled by the wind fairly easily. The included case has storage for both of the batteries and all of the other accessories, and the extra set of rotor blades will come in handy once the original set stops working properly. It feels fairly durable and sturdy and the camera does work well for its resolution.

Flying this drone feels doable and not rocket science right from the start, even if you’re new to drones. The controller with the built in screen is a big plus to avoid the need to connect a phone which makes setup faster. Size is perfect and compact enough to store easily but still large enough to feel stable in the air. The brushless motor and optical flow positioning noticeably help with steady hovering, which makes a big difference when learning. One key takeoff and landing work well, and features like headless mode and flips add fun without making things complicated. Assembly is minimal, and the spare propellers included are a thoughtful touch. If you have kids, you would appreciate the extra set of propellers. Battery life per charge is average, but including two batteries helps extend flight sessions. For the price, this offers strong value especially as a starter drone for young kids, teens or adults who want something easy, forgiving, and enjoyable without jumping into expensive models.

I wanted to take video of our kids playing together and can barely keep up with them. i thought this camera drone would be a big help in that regard. I've used several other drones of different types and have a lot of fun and success with those, This unit, however, has real problems with consistency in operation of the controller. Many times pressing a button has no effect at all, especially starting up the unit and toggling the screen to display camera views. Drone itself drifts badly whilst in the air indoors, so badly that I wouldn't bother taking it outdoors at all, lest a slight breeze blow it away from you. Overall this is difficult to make work in the most basic sense, and the video quality, if you can even display it, is very poor.
