Super easy to use and makes a perfect cut every time. Also, I have lost some strength and mobility in my hands so this is perfect for me too. Sturdy and nice looking. Fits right in with my other countertop appliances so I leave it out all the time. The only thing that would make it better would be for it to have a removable crumb catcher on the bottom. This slicer works well. It is easy to use and wash up. The older kids loved being able to cut thier own bagels so easily. Worked great for Costco bagels. Bakery bagels are a bit too large for this slicer. They get a but smashed.

This slicer is amazing. Had never seen one before but read the reviews. Just tried it on a Costco bagel. Put the bagel in, put in the slicer and pushed down. Cut that bagel in half perfectly.
