This is a great compact backpack. Lots of storage and separate compartments. We got this after a recent trip to the zoo where my wife had a similar pack. With the two of us and our child we found the one just didn't have enough room to hold everything (when we had light/rain jackets that might not be needed). So we decided to get a second. One of the nice features of this one is the access to an internal battery for charging devices, and this is also an area where this backpack is better than the one my wife previously got. First, on the outside it has two outputs that covered with a nice little snap in cover, a USB C and a standard USB port. I like that there are two options (my wife had one and it was hardwired in) both so that depending on what you need for output you can choose and you can do two at once (my wife's only has the one). Additionally, we found that through a weird quirk when we would have a battery attached to hers, it needed to be activated to output through her backpack. On this one you use it like a regular plug and it just starts charging. Inside there are two other USB spots, again a standard USB and a USB C. Now this was confusing, and there's on info included or on the product listing that covers this. At first I thought it was either giving you two options for connecting a powerbank, or maybe the USB C powers the USB C and vice versa. But no. After a bunch of trial and error, determined that the internal USB powers the two external and the internal USB C. Plugging a powerbank into the the USB C does not charge anything, and did not supply power from the outside. This would be my biggest complaint about the backpack, just give a small piece of paper saying how this all works. But this is a pretty small complaint. It'd also be cool if you could send power in for when you happen to be by an outlet, but that's aspirational. Overall, a great buy and very happy with it.

The unpadded back of this pack makes it stiff, hard and uncomfortable on the back. Otherwise, the design is great and the features are on par with other similar backpack styles.

When I took this out of the bag the first thing I noticed was how durable feeling the material was. It seems very water resistant and eels like a mix between leather and plastic (not a bad feel for durability and for shedding water while protecting a computer and other items. I thought the bag will easily carry a 15.6 inch laptop a few books and some smaller items (plenty of pockets for smaller items by the way) but you won't get a lot of other things in this smallish/medium bag like sweaters or rain gear etc. The zippers eemed fairly good quality and worked fine. I did not like the feel of the handle much and the shoulder straps are adequately padded for short hauls. It has the USB charging port most bags these days have. Overall a nice bag but I need larger ones for all the stuff I carry.
