Videos on using similar Flux cored welders are available on YouTube. Excessive tension pressure on the wire feed wheel, excess wire stick out (CTWD over 1/2 inch), and unstable / shaky one-handed torch positioning seem to be the major causes for "poor operation" of these small 'Gasless Wire Feed DC Welders'. I've had zero (0) experience with a wire feed welder, less than a dozen hours using a 100 Amp stick welders, but over a decade of fitting / soldering and or brazing copper pipe for refrigerant and or water, it took less than thirty (30) minutes to make strong penetrating welds in the 1/8 in. steel channel. Works great for intended purpose; an inexpensive entry level 3 in 1 welder. Set at 75 Amps with Synergic control on / active and with supplied 0.030 (0.8 mm) Flux Core wire it welded 1/8 in. Steel C-channel with ease (trials), required 'C' tip movement. Used the wire feed welder to quickly repair a generator exhaust flange that was snapped off. Plan to use it for a future repair on my auto exhaust which will provide 100% ROI. The cost of Welder, Auto Darkening Helmet, Welding Gloves, 3M Half Face respirator, all accessories and consumables was still under $200.00 total. Purchased Forney Nozzle Gel to prevent slag buildup on nozzles and tips. Tried (recommended) Petroleum Jelly aka Petrolatum which worked the same and is the primary ingredient for all major manufacturers' products; Nozzle Gel or Nozzle Dip. Also as recommended in videos, replaced the supplied MIG Gas Nozzle and 'Holder' with a Gasless / Flux Nozzle (in photo) and Holder which makes it easier to view and control the weld pool.

Good bad and the ugly. Nice 10 ft leads on ground, mig gun and ground a big plus. Detachable mig gun-lead was a big reason for us. Flux core can be used with or without the synergy feature. Selectable wire diameter. Tried stick welding and was surprised at how well it was with what I had on hand 3/32 6011 near perfect. Now the acid test I tried a stick of 3/32 7018. No issue. Grabbed a stick of cheap 7018 1/8 and cranked it up to weld on 3/16 coupon and with a bit of encouragement fired up, nice and smooth for 2 inches before the 15 amp breaker protecting 14 gauge home wire flipped. I really should have known to use a 20 amp circuit with proper feed line. The ugly was door latch and some issue with mig gun lead and no direct manufacture to help with issues. Just ordered another and hope it has no issues Reached out to manufacture as the manual had contact info and after a month plus got a reply 2/25 and they got back to me on a issue I had with welder and they sent me another. I bought this welder. Set it up for Tig welding. Welded about 1.5 inches and the machine just stopped working. I returned that machine and Bought another. The second machine was DOA and returned that one also. I do not recommend this machine at all.

I wanted something that I could carry easily. This is a well made welder with a 10 ft cable on the MIG gun. The synergy function was very good right out of the box and after tweaking it about 0.2 volts, I was getting smooth beads with just a little spatter. The ground clamp and stick welding stinger were surprisingly well made. The manual settings were wider than expected and cover what I would use for most sheet metal welding. The fan is much louder than expected but works very well. I was surprised to find a welder that worked this well at this price. Great value!

My first time using a MIG welder and I'm totally impress with this little machine. I'm sure there are others that would impress me as well. I chose his one because price was right and it has Synergy that takes the guess work out of manipulating the Voltage and Amperage settings. This machine does MMA (Stick) and TIG welding also; I have not tried those two methods yet. My first MIG weld was messy but thinking a bit more about what I learned on Y/Tube my second weld was something to cheer about; I produced a nice weld which amazed me. Setting the machine up with the 1 lbs. of supplied Flux Core wire spool was very easy. The instructions were easy to follow but the photos on page 11 were very hard to see but it's not hard to understand what you need to do to get it set up. You can't go wrong with this machine and it's affordable and comes with everything you need except the TIG gun. I'm sold and recommend this for occasional light to medium duty welding.

No soy soldador, compre este equipo para hacer unos proyectos en casa, en principio sólo voy a usar flux core y compre 3 kg de alambre de 9mm, el soldado dice que es para soldadura con gas pero no encuentro la conexión para el gas en el equipo, tuve que actualizar la tobera por una de cerámica especial para soldadura flux, el conector del gatillo de la pistola es muy endeble y plástico, ya compré unonde acero para cambiarlo en cuato falle. En cuento a la soldadura debo decir que tiene una función sinergia que es excelente, puedo soldar perfiles de 1mm de espesor sin derretir el metal, no e podido encontrar la forma de regular la velocidad de salida del alambre pero no he sentido que lo necesite, también se puede regular independientemente el voltaje y amperage segun las necesidades, en unos minutos probando el aparato ya estaba aplicado unos cordones decentes y uniendo perfiles sin problemas, creó que si no se es un soldador profesional esta máquina es excelente para empezar a aprender, por su precio y funcionalidad es muy buena sólo requiere de unas pequeñas mejoras y no necesitara nada más.
