The media could not be loaded. I love everything about my new teapot! It's pretty, it pours perfectly without dripping, it's 1 full liter or 34 oz, the lid stays on when pouring, the handle stays totally cool even at a full rolling boil on my glass top electric stove. On a gas stove just keep the flame low to medium, and don't let it go up the outside of the pot, especially by the handle. The handle on the LID gets hot by then, but that doesn't bother me - no need to touch it before pouring anyway, and using a small hot pad is no big deal. If you watch my video, no, I do not normally boil my tea while brewing it, but I thought the video would show up better that way. The video shows how the handle stays cool, but I can't quite lift the lid because the knob is hot. This pot will boil one full liter without boiling over or coming out of the spout at all. As for dripless pouring, you can MAKE it drip if you try to barely dribble it out of the spout, but you wouldn't do that. Just pour it slowly or normally and not one drop will dribble. The tea filter-strainer works perfectly - it goes in and lifts out easily. The lid fits and stays in with or without the filter in place. I didn't get any residue in the bottom of the pot I brewed. If you use your pot on the stove, I would have a silicone hotpad or something nearby to set the pot on, so you don't cause thermal shock and risk breakage by setting hot glass on a cool surface. The instruction leaflet is well done and clear - do take a minute to read it before use, to protect your pretty pot and keep yourself safe. It came well package and looks very nice - I would be happy and proud to give this as a gift!

This product is exactly what I was looking for. I titled this review the way I did because my tea making skills are through the roof. Why are my skills better now then they were before the product? They are better now because, I do not consume all the seasoning or products put into the water as I did when I made tea before the product. The metal sifter (or whatever it is called) is fine enough to where seasoning/powders do not slip through easily. Does powders/seasonings get through, yes, but not at such an extreme level. That is one my favorite parts. Use: The tea pot heats up well on the electric stove too. I typically heat up my water in a metallic kettle and then pour the water into the tea pot for the teas to extract into the water versus heating up water in the tea pot. However, the extra step I take isn't needed. Cleaning: Cleaning is simple and easy. However, the tea pot does seem like it could break easily (duh it's glass). Pouring: This tea pots pours like a movie shot in your favorite paramount film. I just love pouring the pot because it's absolutely beautiful!

I have incredibly shaky hands because of my health. Son watched me pour a cup of tea and was amazed that I didn't spill a drop for a change. That's a big plus. Makes a decent cup of tea. Yep, different pots do make different cups. I use it every day sometimes twice a day. I held off writing a review until I had used it on my stove top. Worked just fine but much more slowly than boiling in the electric kettle then pouring in the water. Nice no frills design. I have my fancy porcelain pot I use with my china, but this is great for every other time. I usually cover it with a tea cozy anyway. I'm very much a tea person and I heartily recommend.
