I've been needing a new bed for a long time and one Sunday morning my old one just broke, the support beam completely bent and the part was not sold separately, I'd have to buy a whole new one from IKEA so I took the opportunity to search Amazon to get the perfect bed. Queen size, black and fast shipping were my priorities. I scrolled through many and this one checked all my boxes. Set to be delivered on a Tuesday but arrived on Monday, just in time for trash pickup so I could get rid of the old one and all the packaging. Set up was a no-brainer though I would say that the light clips needed in the first step should not be packaged with the LED lights on the very last step because I panicked and thought it would be defective but alas you can still install them on the very last step. The seller responded quickly but I found them quicker. The bed is truly quiet and though I despise LED flashing lights, you can curate a very nice reading light with the settings. The mattress does slide from side to side but I'm sure I can fix that. However, I am in need of a new mattress as well and will take the measurements into consideration, hopefully a thicker mattress will do the trick because currently there is a gap between the headboard and the pillows fall through, I would love if the headboard was longer and didn't allow for that but I got a wedge pillow and actually put it at the foot of the mattress and it's been working like a charm. The bed is low and thicker mattress could combat that but you would lose headboard space if that matters to you. I do love the storage bins that come with it, and consider that a huge pro. Being able to plug my phone in is awesome as well.
