I’m really disappointed with this purchase. The product description said the headboard was 42 inches tall, but in reality it’s only about 30 inches, which makes it impossible to use with a box spring and mattress. The headboard looks very short and is not what I expected at all. I almost want to take it apart and return it, but I’m currently sick with Covid and don’t have the energy. On top of that, we already got rid of my daughter’s old bed frame, so returning this would mean she has no bed. The only positives: it is a pretty frame if appearance is your top priority. But if size and accuracy matter, think twice before buying. Unfortunately, I’m out over $200 for something that wasn’t described correctly.

The media could not be loaded. As serial IKEA survivors, my husband (260lb) and I braced for nightmare assembly. Shockingly done in 48 minutes – labeled parts and readable installation instructions saved us. Once built, the elegant curves wowed us. Fits our queen mattress like a glove. Best part? Gone from ‘squeaky bed couple’ to stealth mode. Those velcro slats and center metal bar deliver true squeakless, even with his midnight snack runs. Feet grip our laminate floors tight, and the 6 inch clearance swallows our duvets. Heads-up: Headboard’s firmer than expected but became my reading backbone. Worth every penny for peaceful nights.
