I’ve been using the Hisense 40-Inch QD4 Series for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with what you get for the price. The picture quality is bright and colorful thanks to the QLED panel—perfect for streaming movies and shows in Full HD. The slim bezel gives it a modern, clean look, and it doesn’t take up much space. Setup was easy, and Alexa built-in makes navigating through apps super convenient. I do notice a slight lag sometimes when switching between apps, but nothing major. The DTS Virtual:X sound is decent for a small TV, though I might eventually pair it with a soundbar. Overall, a solid choice for bedrooms, guest rooms, or even dorms. Yet another reason to love amazon. If you have internet connection, you can free yourself from the cable vultures who keep jacking up the bill with no warning or permission. This TV with built in fire and Alexa will save you so much money because there are plenty of free channels movies and content. I discovered prime video NFL as added bonus! The setup for this system is so easy and has an app for your phone too. I was watching the TV in 15 minutes! The voice remote is incredibly smart and will connect to whatever you desire . You can also subscribe to many third party channels very easy. I cannot say enough about the sound and picture quality being so sharp and brilliant! The only negative I could say is that the remote is very small and can be easily lost so I purchased a backup one just in case. I really am happy about this TV system and wish I bought it sooner. Ok... so it's day one. I needed to upgrade an older television, so I needed something that would work well with an Xbox series S, as well as look good with streaming tv and movies. I normally don't review this quickly, but I am really impressed with the picture quality right off the bat. It actually looks better than the 4k TV I bought for my mother a few months ago. The sound is nice, and can be adjusted as necessary for whatever you are watching/ playing. No noticable lag on the gaming console either... That's a bonus! I'll update if needed...     • Set Had Great Picture but Programming it was defective.

Well, was looking to get a larger screen TV to replace the 32" TV in the amour in my bedroom. A 40" TV would fit perfectly but not too many TV brands offered in that screen size. Saw this Hisense QLED set and it appeared to be perfect with having ALEXA function. I installed and programed the TV and was really pleased with how great the picture looked! However I was NOT able to connect it to function with ALEXA. I also had and issue with a ROKU streaming stick remote not turning the set on and off. I had this device working totally fine on the 32" Samsung TV I had replaced. I worked with BOTH Amazon and Hisense support to get these issues resolved. Amazon said it was an issue with Hisense so their support should resolve it. Worked with their Support and it was referred to their Tier 2 support group. Their Tier 2 told me the set was defective and to send it back. So I ended up returning it to Amazon. I do wish they could have resolved the issue as the picture was amazing! I have since ordered a different brand 40" TV. ... show more

Unfortunately, most manufacturers don't put their top of the line features into smaller TVs. The space we had available would only fit at most a 40 inch TV, so this "quantum dot" model seemed to be the best solution available. The picture is good, but I don't see a big improvement in color or brightness due to the quantum dots over a regular LCD TV. The viewing angle is reasonable, but the picture fades a bit at extreme angles. It's only Full HD, not 4K, but that's not a big deal with this size screen. The TV has two small legs for support, which may not work on a narrow base. I mounted the TV on this swivel tabletop stand, which was easy to attach and works well with the TV. The Fire TV software is not great. Often some of the apps get stuck in an endless buffering loop, even though we have a 1Gbs internet connection and the TV is right next to the Wi-Fi 6 router. Generally, restarting the TV fixes the problem until the next time, usually every day or two. It does interface with the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar using the eARC port and an HDMI cable. However, there is serious lag on the volume control, making it difficult to adjust the sound to the desired level. Overall there's not a lot of choice in this TV size category. If you can fit a 43 inch or larger TV, you'll get much better features. ... show more

So far no complaints! Comes with plenty of app/options and you can get more of course. The remote for voice searching is exactly what I wanted; it pulls up results and shows you all the places to watch them. Definitely worth it and price was great!
