When we decided we were going to invest in security cameras we knew a) we didn't want to be tied to "the cloud", b) we didn't want to worry about hardwiring or plugging into an outlet and c) we wanted to be able to keep it reasonably out of reach of anyone desiring to get their hands on it where it was mounted. This little Hiseeu unit (which reminds me of a one-eyed Minion) seemed to fit the bill perfectly; and it got a lot of great reviews - a lot of them punctuated with helpful in-depth details - which for me is a great selling point. So on the strength of that (and a reasonable price), we purchased two - one for the front door and one for the back yard. They arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Everything in the box was easily identifiable with the list on the enclosed instruction sheet. Though the instructions are written in English, they are not perfectly understandably written; however, with the help of illustrations and the fact that this is a relatively straight-forward set-up process, a little interpolation is all that is needed. That, and the fact that the app (which we accessed and installed through Google Play and is free) guides you with audio as well as visual instructions along the way makes for a very easy installation. Once the camera is activated and registered, basically all you need to do is mount the camera somewhere. I would recommend somewhere out of the reach of human hands that aren't carrying a ladder around! When you do decide on a spot, I strongly recommend against using the anemic 3M adhesive pads - the only fly in the ointment of an otherwise excellent product. The pads became our choice as a result of desiring to preserve the integrity our vinyl siding against any holes, which would be necessary (as we thought then) with the alternate mounting bracket enclosed, albeit a more secure method. The camera and the software played really well together for about a half a day. The next morning, I went to log in to the app and when the camera came on, I noticed on the live feed that it was looking straight down at the front porch, rather than from the position I had mounted it in the previous afternoon. No sooner had I made this observation than I heard a "thunk" outside the front door. The camera had fallen eight feet to the concrete below - a victim of the insufficient adhesive value of the pad to the siding. Well, having read other reviews, I was encouraged by others that needed to contact Saul - the guy to call when there's a problem. Through a short exchange of emails, Saul was able to send us a replacement camera (which arrived very quickly), while we mailed the non-functioning camera to the warehouse address.....it was as simple as that! Fantastic customer service! Thanks, Saul! I have since mounted the new camera at the front door utilizing the screw mount bracket instead, however I have mounted the bracket to a vinyl siding hook from Menards (Model Number: VSH56-24 Menards® SKU: 2850715) and then attached the hook to the siding - no holes. The particular hook I used is supposed to hold 56lbs., so I feel pretty secure with it holding an 8oz. camera. I ran out of time this weekend to mount the back yard camera, but I plan on mounting it the same way as at the front door, utilizing a vinyl siding hook, small machine screws, a couple washers and nuts (for mounting the bracket to the hook) - all stuff you can find for a nominal cost (under $10 total) at Menards or Ace Hardware or any hardware store. I haven't explored all the features of the camera yet, but it provides great video resolution to the phone app for viewing on your phone (which you can change between standard definition and high definition). Nighttime viewing is very good, too, though in black and white - which is perfectly fine and as expected. The intercom feature is excellent as well - very good audio, offering conversation between you and the individual(s) outside. I'm really looking forward to learning more about using these cameras. So far I have nothing but five stars for the cameras and certainly the customer service from Saul! A highly recommended, quality, home security device at a reasonable cost! Update 9/5/19: got the other camera activated and then installed in the back yard and it was even easier having done it once already for the front door. Camera alerts me with the CloudEdge app very well; I was a little surprised when I got a notice that the back yard camera picked up some human activity this morning while I was at work - turns out the next door neighbor's lawn crew (probably 35 feet away) set it off. Actually, I am pleased that that happened so that I know what to expect for the range of activity picked up. Still a five star experience with these cameras! ... show more

Excellent video camera with quality image recordings. I must say the file storage, battery life and sensitivity are phenomenal . The software is intuitive and simple to operate. I recommend this product , but I caution the buyer to ensure the software is compatible with their other wireless video cameras if they have them. I found out the hard way all cameras will not work with each others software. ... show more

Tips: explore the app! Take time to go over all the features and experiment with them as best suited to your needs! I have several of these cameras and they're always on. I take them down to charge probably once every 2 weeks if that. I recommend a multi-port USB charger if you plan on getting more than one so you can charge them all at the same time. I charge them on a day I'm home and put them back up after they're done. You can't beat these for the price especially! A+++ **if you have any issued reach out to the seller immediately! Very accommodating. I had an issue with one of mine connecting to internet and just reset it with the provided pin/key tool. It worked fine after that.** ... show more

bought 2 and put one in each area that someone should not be passing by on my property w/o a purpose. got set up today and already works great. it detected a delivery to the front porch and the other area very well. great quality of pictures and video. no monthly fee. its literally just a one time buy and once set up you can detect battery life by the app and recharge when needed. you can take screen shots of any activity that you wish and overall this is great. when away, of course the use is great but also when I'm home as i will be alerted to any activity (of which there should be none if we are all inside in bed). this allows me to see anything that goes on w/o trying to put sensors on every door and window, trying to set alarms and pay monthly fees. this is much easier. set up is also GREAT. you can use the screw mount OR just stick it w/the two way sticky mount and it actually works. each one comes w/ 2 sticky mounts so nice to have a back up. so far works great ***update: my one at front door broke/wore out, etc and I wanted to order a new one so went back to my prior order and clicked "order again". I saw the design changed and assumed it was just updating the look or maybe improving the quality, etc. This one actually does NOT come w/ the sticky mounts w/the magnetic mount. The other ones did which made it easy for me to install and remove for battery charging, etc. this one has to be screwed in only and while it may not seem like a big deal, the sticky mounts were so much easier and its really disappointing that this is NOT the same item as before. ... show more
