Love the boots. 100% Comfort right out of the box. I bought the steel toe version. Disclosure, I’m no mechanic, plumber, construction worker, or craftsman, etc. so if you’re putting in that kind of work and time on your feet, I don’t know. It’d be great for one of those pro’s to buy these and put these boots thru those paces and write a review, you know, for the good of humanity. I’m a musician who rides motorcycles a lot, does some little stuff around the house, goofs off in the garage moving crap around, and who likes comfort. I’ve only worn them a few times for motorcycle riding (800+ miles over the last 2 days and the boots were definitely comfortable the whole time. 100%!). I just bought them so I can’t speak on durability just yet. I really like them so I hope they hold up. Only time will tell but for the other great reviews and being around $60, it was definitely worth a try. If they hold up over the next several months and at this price point, I’ll buy the other colors too and have 3 different colors for half the price of one pair of Thorogood’s/Red Wings/Danner’s, White’s, etc., (who all also make great hardcore boots so definitely no knock against those fantastic brands!) I’m just talking comfort & price points and hopefully some decent durability. Now, for fit, order a half size smaller, unless you have wide feet or bigger toes. The steel toes do run roomy in the toe area. I wear a 10.5 in Adidas shelltoes, Adidas running/sneakers, and a 10.5 in Nike running/sneakers. I originally ordered a 10.5 in this boot and returned them (which was super easy as well) for size 10 and the 10’s fit me perfect but still with room in the steel toe area!!! I don’t have skinny feet or wide feet, just average. Again, definitely comfortable out of the box and definitely worth a try at this price, and I really hope they last and not fall apart. If they don’t hold up over the next few months or I see some bs, I’ll refresh this review for sure. ... show more

Warehouse worker here , hard toe required, comfortable from day one so far so good ,no break in , its only been 5 days, but have noticed my feet are ALOT cooler ordered my size (10) feels good compared to my $200 Redwing, these Hiseas are the least expensive boots I've ever had and be this comfortable ? But we'll see with time because my Reds did last a long time. ... show more

My last work boots were from Wolverine. Respectable boots, but lasted for 6 months. So far on my 3rd month with these boots. And still looks fresh and still feels brand new. Boots were made in good comfort quality and performance is on par. But the only downside, are the boot laces. Boot laces over time is showing thread wear and tear. Which is normal. I have a pair of work boots from a well known brand that I have been unhappy with for years. They're difficult to pull on and take off. The deep cleats in the sole track mud and dirt into the house. They're heavy, too. That's why I got these HISEA boots. The HISEA boots exceeded my expectations. In the product description photos they looked stiff. I was concerned they might chafe on my ankles. Not so. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. My feet slid right into them. I wore them around the house all afternoon and into the evening. They breath well and my feet don't sweat. I like the light brown color. The leather has a deep quality finish, not the spray on finish you get with cheap boots. At first I wasn't too sure if I would like the contrasting color on the sides of the sole. My wife told me that is the style now. If she's happy, I'm happy. Seriously, these are great boots. At $62 at the time of this review, they are an excellent value. I highly recommend them. ... show more

I've worn Irish Setters for many years as work boots, but like everything else the price continues to climb every year. I decided to give these a try, since they were about 1/3rd the price of Irish Setters. At first, I was a little put off by the shiny fake-looking finish on these boots. I decided to "modify" them to my liking. I used a wire brush to remove the shiny coating on the leather. Then I applied a good dose of Huberds shoe grease. I believe these boots are going to be just as good as the Irish Setters and waaaaay cheaper. They are comfortable and seem to be durable. Time will tell. ... show more

These boots are very comfortable and need very little break in. I wear size 12EE, and was worried that they would be too tight, but they’re not. Snug yes, but comfortable and supportive. I work 12 hour shifts at a power plant on concrete and steel grating and my feet have never felt better at the end of the day. My company provides Red Wing boots for us, but I’ve never found a pair that were comfortable and they always need a painful break in period of days, sometimes weeks before they’re tolerable.
