I needed to keep my vintage hit and miss engines dry on a flat bed trailer,so i looked online for water proof tarps and most listings said water resistant. I didn't want water under it at ALL. So I reluctantly bit the bullet and bought 1 of these. and it works . IT does have a tendency to "stick" to some surfaces that have been clear coated like the fenders of my trailer. this is not a stick and damage anything,it is more like a cling. Doesn't blow off the stuff easy either.Stays put in a mild to moderate wind and rain without anything holding it down besides it's own weight. We searched for days for a quality tarp and finally found this produce. When it arrived we were so surprised at how well they were built and how sturdy the strap hooks were. We have had these outside for a few months now through rain, wind and heat in the Arizona desert and they have held up great! Loved the tabs for tying down, nice thick tarp for the money and super durable. However, it was just too big for what we needed, which was to cover an outdoor bar to protect the wood from the elements. Had to return.

I bought this in rebuilding a truck bed cover on my 97 Dodge Durango as the old original finally decomposed. Re-using the original rails, cutting wood and plywood, putting that together and then coating the surface with some appropriate coating, I then used this to cover it all and then re-installed the rails. All is well. I'll buy another to re-do that cover should the sun and weather deteriorate it as it wouldn't take long to do that replacement. Also buying one to cover our picnic table as regular canvass seeps. This is waterproof! ... show more
