This cat litter box arrived quickly and was well-packaged with styrofoam inserts and zero damage. It looks sleek, modern and has a nice weight due to the bottom half being made of smooth metal. Comes with a large scoop that filters out the litter, and sticky adhesives for underneath, to keep it in place and from sliding around when the cat enters the box. The grey plastic part on top has high sides (so the cat won't kick the litter out when covering their business!) and is easily removable from the metal box for easy, full access. No litter will stick to the bottom (like how it might were this a cheaper plastic-only box) due to the metal. How I might improve this product would be to include a box of liners and/or a bag of litter too; however, this is an attractive and high quality cat litter box and scoop on its own. For the price point compared to other litter boxes, it's fairly competitively priced; due to it not being self-cleaning, it could afford to be priced a little lower, imo, but it has good quality components and will look nice in any room.

Stainless steel cat litter boxes are a genius idea. Plastic degrades over time, and the slick "non-stick" plastic surface eventually becomes rough and corroded where clumps of pee have been held against the bottom of the tray for periods of time. Stainless steel avoids that, and it doesn't hold odors like plastic does, giving you a potentially lifetime litter box that never needs to be replaced. Even better (for litterbox purposes ) if it's 304 Marine Grade stainless, but nowhere in the packaging did this product claim to be, so that's one star it didn't earn. Stainless steel cleans easily when it's time to do a whole box change and you take it outside to hose down. The tray comes with some self-adhesive neoprene non-slip feet to stick on the bottom, a cheap plastic littler scoop, and a plastic scatter shield which clips onto the edge of the pan, increasing the height of the walls from 4 inches to 8 inches. Without the scatter guard, it's not deep enough for my cats, who tend to dig and pile and scatter litter like crazy. Measure carefully for where you intend to use it, unlike plastic litter trays, this does not have any "forgiving flex" to enable it to wedge into a slightly-too-small space.

Love it, I’m ditching plastic boxes after getting to review this. We have 3 cats and clean our boxes daily, the smell was still there. Since using this the smell is gone!! It’s great quality and even the scooper is great! I wish I had tried metal sooner!! If you’re a cat parent and still using plastic boxes.. stop and just try this!! You will notice a difference for the better. Our air purifier is not going on as much as well so I know it’s making a difference.

This isn't the 1st stainless cat pan I've gotten but I'm in the process of replacing all our cat pans with stainless. This one is close to identical with a previous purchase that made me decide that SS pans were so superior that the old plastic ones had to go. SS doesn't have odors penetrate it, it doesn't discolor, the litter doesn't tend to stick to it, they look a lot more sanitary and a lot better, they don't break. Just better all the way around. I like the plastic surround because the cats sometimes get a bit energetic with the covering up process and fling litter just everywhere. The surround catches that. Get this one, you won't be unhappy.

It appears to be a very popular cat box, so I hate to be the one to leave four stars, but honestly, I prefer deeper box. I have several cats and four stainless steel cat boxes and this is the most shallow of them all, even with the guard up. For most people this probably isn’t a problem, but I like to use a lot of litter in my boxes and prefer a deep box. What I do agree with the other reviews on is that stainless steel is definitely the way to go in a multiple cat home. They’re easy to clean, durable, and reduce odor as well. Another thing about this box is the size. I ordered the extra large, but I don’t consider this box extra large compared to the other boxes I have. It’s because of these two things that I removed a star. Overall, this is a well-made nice looking box that may very well be perfect for some homes, but was not quite what I prefer in size.

I have been through so many plastic litter boxes in my life. They start out nice, but eventually become impossible to get completely clean. My only concern with stainless steel was whether the cats would like it. They seem to like it fine, having adapted without a single complaint or "accident". While the box is still pretty new, I have enough experience with stainless steel in other applications to feel confident that it will remain easy to clean pretty much indefinitely.

I have three cats, so I have had my fair share of experiences with litter boxes. This is a good one! It's easy for the cats to get in and out and I like how tightly the splash guard attaches. The guard clips on easily in 6 different places. Although this included a scoop, I prefer my fine mesh scoop as it does a better of getting each little piece. Stainless steel is ideal for multiple cat houses and doesn't hold onto odors. I recommend as does my youngest cat. :)

Very solid, easy to set up, easy to clean and maintain, and looks good (as far as litter boxes go). Has a good capacity for most cats and the walls are high enough that they eliminate any overshooting or litter flinging. When cleaning, dirty litter slides right out of the steel pan, with very little if any scraping needed.
