This slim backpack will be perfect for a walking tour of Ireland. I need to carry a Micro 4/3 camera, zoom lens, wide angle lens and a small pouch of necessary accessories. While dedicated camera bags are great for cameras and lenses, they don’t provide space for the other items I need to have on a day’s adventure. I'm a college instructor and use the smaller/medium sized bag for several textbooks and my laptop. I plan to use it at my office job as well. Pros: It's very cute, good amount of storage and pockets, large cup holders, sturdy and well-made. I've successfully cleaned off coffee and pencil stains with a Clorox wipe. It is much more compact and structured than traditional rounded backpacks. Worth the price. Cons: Because of the square shape, it's slightly hard to maneuver at times. I find it nearly impossible to swing it slightly forward in front/side of me on one shoulder to reach into the small front pocket. I have to fully take it off to open any zippers or pockets. It also doesn't really stand up on its own if you have more than a light notebook in it, because the weight of the items always tips it to one side. I'm a full time college student and have been looking for the perfect backpack. Up to this point, I was a tote bag person because I liked the convenience of throwing things in my bag without fussing with zippers/compartments/etc. This bag is the best of both worlds. It opens up large like a tote but carries like a backpack. Very light feeling even with books and notebooks inside. Several interior and exterior pockets. The material is thick canvas that seems like it will hold up in the PNW rain. It sits upright on it's own even with a bunch of books inside. I ordered the small size and it is just as large as my North Face Pivoter (but much lighter). The shoulder straps are thin but let's face it, I'm not planning on hiking or doing anything strenuous other than carrying books. I highly recommend this backpack and would definitely not hesitate to order another one in the future. ... show more

The only thing I would say is misleading is that it doesn’t come with a power bank to actually charge the phone. Just the USB to plug in your charging cord. So I had to buy a power bank separately. But other than that I love this backpack. I have had it for five months now and it is the best. It has traveled with me both in the car and on a plane to Minnesota, Kentucky, and Georgia. There have been times where it has had so much stuff in it and it never feels heavy of weighs down on my back. Or maybe I am just used to it haha. There are a lot of inside pockets and plenty of space to store literally everything. I’ve walked in the rain with it so it definitely does well with water. I got like a light aqua color. It’s easy to clean too. I just take a wet wipe or wash cloth to get out the dirty spots. ... show more

This backpack is beautiful, well made, nice quality, and price is a a perfect match! When this arrived I could not have been more pleased! We have only been using this for a week so I will update my review if anything changes. But the fabric, the leather, everything is nice quality for durability and comfort. I have filled this thing with 120 alcohol markers a 200 page heavy weight sketchbook, a five ring notebook as well as other odds and ends and I have a nicely organized travel companion, that after all that, it was comfortable to wear and I didn't even notice the weight! That is amazing!! I hope they don't raise the price because now I want o e for myself! I purchased this for my 10 year old artist to keep her organized. Now I see many more uses for this for me! The color was exactly what is pictured and I purchase the Large, Olive. So happy to find something and it be priced right and appear to be something that will last more than a year! Bought this to replace my over the shoulder bag & laptop bag. I’m a special education teacher and seem to always be toting papers back and forth. I love that there’s a padded area for my laptop. Also, inside there are a few pouches for extra things like a wireless mouse, Kleenex, and even a small notebook. The outside spots are nice as well. I use one for an umbrella and the zip front for a easy to grab items. So far I really really am glad I bought it! I haven’t had to test out the water proof capabilities yet. It saves your shoulders.
