I bought this daybed for a guest bedroom upstairs which is rather small and not really used that much. We assembled it today and it went together very easily. It is nicely made and looks very elegant. Mine came with the suspension deck. It is sturdy for adult use, and it is attractive. When I opened the boxes to assemble it, the metal frames were wrapped in plastic. Everything was well wrapped and intact. When I opened the plastic for the metal frames I noticed that there was a bit of black powder, probably left over from the painting process. This powder is messy. I kept the frames on the plastic and wiped them down thoroughly with a damp rag before assembly. I think this would have been difficult to remove from beige carpeting. I bought this bed to replace a larger day bed when I decided to make a bedroom into a TV room. The quality and construction were exceptional for the price. It was easy to assemble and I was able to use the springs from the older bed. The best part was that I received the day bed within days of placing the order.     • You need a Suspension Deck, whatever that is.
The add is deceptive. If you where to look at the picture you would think everything needed was included. I would have picked another bed if i knew the daybed didn't come with a bed frame (Suspension deck). When i received the daybed i quickly realized that i ordered some shell that attaches to the Suspension deck, whatever that is. I then checked the add and then googled the name to find out there are many people selling this type, but they included in the title a suspension frame is included or not included.
