My 18.5 lb cat LOVES this (hence why he’s on a diet)! He gobbles it down and gets excited to see the bag. The kibble pieces are a bit bigger which is great because he actually has to chew it rather than just swallowing it like smaller kibble on the market.

This food is well loved by my cats and it has really helped my food living kitty loose a couple of pounds. My vet recommended it and it has been great. They also get wet food, but changing this was a huge help to getting my cat at a better weight

I DO LIKE THE PRODUCT AS WELL AS MY CAT. VET SAID SHE IS OVERWEIGHT AFTER HER FIRST YEAR SO THIS IS WHAT I SWITCHED TO AND AFTER THE SECOND YEAR SHE DID LOSE WEIGHT. THE BAD IS IT WENT FROM $75 TO $129 FOR 17.6 POUNDS. HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER SIGHT TO PAY ONLY $93.03 AND IN THESE TIMES THE $35.97 I SAVE CAN GO TO PAY SOME OTHER ITEMS I NEED. ... show more

My baby Lumiére gobbles this food down like it’s the best on earth. Maybe it is 😝 He’s a white snow shoe chocolate seal point and a tad on the heavy side 17 lbs. my vet prescribed this brand to him. It’s pricey but if you want to lower and maintain your cat’s weight this is the food for them! I’m happy he likes it too. ... show more

This larger (8.5 lbs) bag must have had some problem as the cat (TOMMY) stopped eating from this bag. We returned to a 4.5 lb bag, which he would eat. We discarded the larger bag. Labelling on both bags are identical, but for some reason the internal food differed.

It seems that for a while, I was unaware of the fact that my cat was a fatty. However, after having to be away from her for a couple months, it seems she spent all her time with her kitty-sitters eating her feelings and I came back to a cat who was too fat to curl up into a ball while sleeping. I did some research online (where all the geniuses dwell with their opinions) and had read from multiple sites that wet food was the way to go for weight control. However, after buying some expensive canned food, I consulted with the vet, and they said absolutely no to canned food if you want the cat to lose weight. She gave me a sample of this food, kitty liked it, so I ordered a big bag. We are now on bag #2 and kitty looks visibly much better! Slimmer for sure. Has more energy. Tummy no longer so fat that she can't roll up while napping. Not making any pug-like sounds when breathing. All good things! We will keep purchasing! ... show more
