Great storage solution for the price. It took me about 1 hr on the first one and 35 mins on the second. The instructions are easy to read and once I found my hex-key drill bit; the second one was a lot quicker to put together. Pretty sturdy and very tall.

Picked the narrow white/gold 6 tier to place at the end of the kitchen cabinet/counter because I needed a "least obtrusive" match to the neutral color scheme. Standard brown/black would have been all wrong. Lazied through the assembly process, a fellow reviewer said "assemble in sections instead of part 1 of instruction sheet" and he's pretty much right. Every bit and knick knack I needed was in the package and the whole shebang was solidly packed into its decently styro-padded shipping box super cleanly. Had a minor brain whoops and a shelf and accompanying framework (the C stuff) was turned upside down. No big deal, just took the lower half apart and re-did it. So yeah, be really careful to read the arrow stickers and have every single one pointing up :D The screws more or less self guided themselves neatly into the holes drilled in the shelves. The second to last one squeaked loudly in protest, but by gosh he was gonna get in there, or be swapped with one of the extras. A bit of candle wax rubbed on would shush it right up. Those stickers BTW are easily removed with lighter fluid, a tiny scrape with a fingernail, and a cotton ball to clean up. Goo Gone would work nicely too. Upon finishing the assembly process, it seemed fragile once nuts & screws were merely finger tightened and the whole thing was stood upright -- but once the X supports were installed and all nuts & screws were CAREFULLY tightened QUITE FIRMLY by hand, the entire object became quite satisfactorily rigid, just as it was designed to be. Took a look at the spot where I was intending to place these shelves, and decided to remove the upper X support so I could get to the light switch on the wall. The lower X remains firmly attached and gives the proper structural integrity to the whole piece. ... show more

I purchased two of these shelves to place on opposite ends of an 85” TV stand. They are made of the same materials as the TV stand, which I was happy to find. While assembly was easy (I am an 80 year old female), I had to call my son to come with his drill attachment to get some of the long screws to go all the way in. The small Allen wrench and I were not compatible at times! I was pleased with the final product. ... show more

I'm a great grandma, and I put this shelf together in about 1.5 hours. Light weight enough, I could pack it around myself. I needed a tall narrow shelf for a market booth. The side of shelf, not the back, is against the wall so I added room dividers panels to create a back on this shelf, to prevent anything from fally out the back. See photos. This shelf is quite tall, and narrow, perfect for my needs. It's bolted to the wall, but I do that with all my shelving. Looks so purdy . I added lights to each shelf too. Love it. ... show more
