I have two cats, one of which is very prone to UTIs and has a history of peeing on couches and chairs so was prescribed this diet by her vet. This food alone hasn't been enough to stop her from getting UTIs entirely, but it does seem to have significantly reduced the frequency of them and she hasn't peed anywhere outside the litter box since I started giving her it a year and a half ago. My other cat didn't have any of those problems, but is a picky eater and will often choose this dry food over her wet food which I figure means it's got to taste good. The process of getting veterinarian approval was really fast and easy, and the bag itself is convenient (tear-off seal and reclosable with plastic velcro). This diet is fairly expensive, but it keeps my cat healthy and saves my furniture and sanity so I'd say it's worth it. ... show more

This of course has to have a prescription but has been perfect for our cats bladder issues and it's small bites plus they eat it right up. No issues with this at all.

This was a recommendation from my vet. One of my male cats developed a serious bladder infection and could not urinate. I was told to feed this cat only this food. When you have seven cats it is very expensive to feed all of them this brand and type, so I put both foods down and the one with the infection really prefers the Science Diet to the other food. Most of my other cats have eaten it, too, and seem to like it. It is so expensive but I have to take care of my fur babies so I guess I will suck it up and buy it. ... show more

Our cat had a little bladder stone, and the vet gave us two options, surgery or this. We opted to try this. Had her on it until we took her back in a couple months, and the stone was gone. A few vets never really gave me an answer for what was wrong with my kitty’s bladder. One recommended this food and it works great! If she doesn’t eat it, she will have a really hard time peeing with spots of blood. This food lasts quite a long time for my cat that needs this food. I’ve never tried the seafood! She doesn’t like the wet food of this brand for some reason but seems to like the dry food! ... show more
