Kid loves Melanie Martinez and wanted something to wear to her concert. The first pair we purchased were a little small (we purchased her normal shoe size). Had to return for 1/2 size bigger. That would be the only down fall of ordering online. Never knowing if shoe will fit. These seem to run 1/2 size small. (In our experience). Kid said these were comfortable; although glad we weren't walking a lot as they could become a little tough on the feet. All in all, they came as pictured...super CUTE! These are adorable!! I was a little worried about sizing after seeing other reviews saying they size large. I ended up getting the lower end of my normal size, which is women's 9-9.5 and sometimes 10, I got a 9 for these and they fit a tiny bit loose which is fine with me but if you want a snug fit then maybe go a half size down. I only have a couple of small gripes with these. The first thing is that I ordered the pink color, which appeared to be a pale dusty rose color, but in reality it's more like a bright bubblegum pink. Not a huge deal, but I might've picked a different color if I'd known. The other thing is, they're definitely not made to last, which is understandable, because they're labeled as cosplay shoes and I'm taking them out of their natural habitat by trying to wear them as everyday shoes. They're also a pretty low price so I'm not surprised. They feel comfortable enough that my feet didn't hurt at all after a full school day, but they're definitely not running shoes. I literally never wear heels or platforms of any kind and I had no trouble walking in these so I wouldn't worry about that. Unfortunately, it was raining today and I walked outside to get to my car, the water did seem to damage the bottom part of the shoes as the material is starting to wrinkle up around where the white meets the pink (I didn't get a picture so I hope that makes sense) and it's only my first day wearing them. So I guess don't wear them in bad weather and you should be fine! Overall I love these a lot, despite the little things. Once these ones break down or get too dirty, they're cheap enough that I wouldn't mind getting another pair! If it's in your budget then I highly recommend getting these. ... show more

Sooo cute! These are perfect! I never wear white as I'm goth, but have to for an upcoming semi-formal event. These are the perfect compromise and I will find occasion to wear them with lolita style outfits, I can't wait!

I wore these for a cosplay that I walked in for hours outside, and they held up pretty ok. They’re still structurally sound, but one shoe has heavy creasing. I also rolled my ankles a lot, but I already have had issues my entire life with shoes due to genetic issues with my legs, ankles and feet. The creasing in my shoes, however, made it more easy for me to roll my ankle with that specific shoe. The shoe laces are actually made with lace, so they are pretty dainty.
