Works great for security and grip

First let me say that in my opinion these grip seats are NOT unsafe. You can post, dismount, reposition your seat, and still fall off while wearing it. The benefit i get from it is that it targets the correct muscles that I should be using while riding my barrel horse. It provides a good firm grip and helps you keep your butt in your saddle during a run. However, using it during your workout will help you get in shape. Update: had a "wreck" during a barrel run. Grip seat gave me just the right amount of time to decide if I could save it or bail. Chose to bail as I was too far gone. Was able to push myself away from my horse and land safely. EXCELLENT PRODUCT

Recommend for those needing extra grip

Keeps my 23 month old in the saddle at the local fun show and during rides around the farm. He rides in a 10" saddle it's a little big for the seat but still does the job just fine.

Worth it

My daughter has been riding in these for the last 2 years. We had to rebuild confidence after an eventful ride so these have helped her knowing she was strapped in. Strapped in enough to give her that comfort, but not in too much that it wouldn’t allow her off during an incident. This weekend we had an “uh oh” and she leaned over to much and came off. Her straps allowed her to come loose but at a slower pace. Had her straps not been on I think she would’ve went over her horses head much quicker. Btw I was just looking for an older order and came across this purchase and felt like I could actually give a review on these now. This is not a paid ad lol.

Slip grip saddle seat

I purchased this to help hold my 1.5 year old toddler on the saddle while I walk our horse around. It has plenty of room to grow with her for awhile if needed, and strong Velcro. She doesn’t seem to mind it around her legs, and I love not having to be the hovering mom worried sick she might loose her balance and fall off! It’s like an extra set of hands when you don’t have them.

Gives my girl a boost of confidence! Makes her feel safe

My five year old loves the saddle seat! She feels more secure riding her pony. I have always been against the saddle grips when I saw toddlers strapped to wild barrel horses at rodeos. Our pony is slow and behaves well. But our saddle doesn't fit well and this helps her stay centered on the pony. She has thanked me again and again for buying the saddle grip. Great product!

They keep you balanced and in your seat but cheap material

Works good keeps you balanced and in your seat but they will rip. After about a month of ridding and competing in them the strap that goes around the back of the saddle has ripped off.
