First let me say that in my opinion these grip seats are NOT unsafe. You can post, dismount, reposition your seat, and still fall off while wearing it. The benefit i get from it is that it targets the correct muscles that I should be using while riding my barrel horse. It provides a good firm grip and helps you keep your butt in your saddle during a run. However, using it during your workout will help you get in shape. ... show more

Keeps my 23 month old in the saddle at the local fun show and during rides around the farm. He rides in a 10" saddle it's a little big for the seat but still does the job just fine.

I purchased this to help hold my 1.5 year old toddler on the saddle while I walk our horse around. It has plenty of room to grow with her for awhile if needed, and strong Velcro. She doesn’t seem to mind it around her legs, and I love not having to be the hovering mom worried sick she might loose her balance and fall off!
