  • Now I can put the dogs and go camping next to me
Haven't used yet but I set it up inside my house looks good

  • Sturdy
So far I've only set this up inside to test it before our camping trip in the black hills in a few weeks. This thing is tall and seems to be sturdy! I was worried about it being tall with the Midwest winds, but these poles are thicker than your average tent, seems legit! will update if we have any issues. ... show more

  • Worth the buy
Color: Gray Size: 8 Person
Easy to set up , spacious , tall enough to walk in , good air flow from windows and open roof material is a little thin got a tear in it on my 2nd trip just going to duct tape it and hope it last that's the only reason for the 4 stars other then the thin material it's a great tent.

  • Giant and Easy to set up!!
This tent is huge!! And easy to set up!! My recommendation: do the Red poles first, then the blue, then the green ones last. There are color coded connectors attached to the tent that are so convenient because you don't have to worry about losing them, and it makes it fantastic to help with putting it together. The zipper flap at the bottom of the door makes it a little hard to zip it closed all the way, but just take your time and it will be fine. 10/10 recommend!! ... show more

  • Always put on the rain-fly
Color: Ocean Blue Size: 8 Person
Got to our site at 1:30am, set up our tent using the car lights to be able to see anything (first time setting up the tent too...). After loudly blowing up our airbed I said "forget the rain-fly, let's just go to bed. I'm done. I just want to sleep.". Well, 3:30 rolls around and I hear thunder. Like really close and super loud, shaking the tent kind of thunder. I wake up my husband in a panic and send him out to put on the rain-fly. Torrential rain comes while he's out trying to figure out the rain-fly in the dark without his glasses. Meanwhile I'm in the tent hiding under the blankets, peeking out every few seconds to see if he got it on yet. He finally does and comes back in. He then says "Yeesh, my underwear are soaked!". I pause for a minute then ask, "what about your pants?". Apparently my sweet husband decided it was fine to sleep in just his underwear. So picture if you will, a 30 year old man, out in the dark and rain in only his underwear and shoes, trying to throw the rain-fly over the tent to get it on. So, learn from our mistakes. Always put the rain-fly on the tent. I don't care how unlikely it is to rain. (Also the tent was great and easy to set up when we weren't trying to set it up in the dark) ... show more

  • tall people buy this one
Color: Navy Blue Size: 6 Person
If you are tall this is the one you want. I bought a Coleman and sadly it was to short. Plus i had bought a frame and bed to go inside and still wanted room for us to move around. This was the one to go for. Good price and I can stand up in it (6ft easy) and not walk around bent over just to fit. recommend this one for sure. ... show more

  • Roomy and easy to set up/ tear down
Color: Ocean Blue Size: 8 Person
The media could not be loaded. While there are VERY basic instructions on a tag inside the tent bag itself, it was a little challenging to put up the first time. Put the RED poles in first - there is a pole that goes along the very top of the tent (this is your roof peak) and that's the one I put in first, the other red poles are self explanatory - they're color coded to each bracket. The blue poles should go next. After the red and blue poles, your tent is halfway built! Green poles go last. The first time I put it up solo, took me about 20 minutes, then about 15 to take it down. Everything fit back in the tent bag just fine. It's very tall in the middle, I'm 5'11" and I can reach up and touch the ceiling. I have a queen size air mattress that sits on a cot platform and my tent was very spacious, even with such a large bed! My bestie had a queen size air mattress she pitched right next to mine and there was still room to walk in between the beds and get in and out of the tent. It's a little heavy to carry, about 20ish lbs when it's all bagged up. Great value, love the color option. ... show more

  • Good tent for the price
Color: Navy Blue Size: 8 Person
We live in rural southeast Missouri with warm weather and high humidity. We have a mold problem in our house and as a result have been sleeping in this tent for 6+ weeks. We have a tall queen size air mattress and 2 plastic drawer units for night stands. There is a little room at the head and foot of the bed, and several feet on each side. Standing height at the side of the bed is a little cramped because of the slope of the walls. Ventilation in the tent is excellent because of the screen roof, and the windows all around. Shortly we will go into our dry spell and not get any dew. We'll probably take the rain fly off then. For any tent in this price range, when you buy it, also buy 2 bottles of seam sealer and a package of cheap narrow foam brushes - about 1/2" wide. Dump some sealer into a small disposable cup and recap the bottle. Ignore the fancy bristles on top of the bottle. Before you put the rain fly on, redo it's seams. My rain fly was a really tight fit, and after it was on we got some leaks. So, while it was on and stretched tight, I recoated the seams that I could reach. Yes, I coated the outside of the fabric, but the coating is thin and it did fine. I'm not in this for a fashion show. We've not had any leaks since then. We have had some heavy rain storms. I staked it down all the way around and ran the lines out from the sides of the rain fly as they help keep the fly flat to prevent puddles. I initially used the corner lines also, but we have some big dogs and one of them blew through a corner line while rushing to save the world one night. The rain fly has some bungie hooks that connect to a steel loop on the corner poles. I ran a line out from that pole loop on the corners instead. EDIT: the guy line adjusters did not hold consistently. There is an easy knot that works much better. Search the internet or YouTube for taut line hitch. That has worked very well for me. This would be fine for 2 adults and little kids, or for 4 older kids on sleeping pads. Remember to leave room for everybody's "stuff". I would prefer the zippers had larger teeth for better durability. Be careful with them so they don't snag the rain flaps and you'll be okay. This is a car camping tent, not a back packing tent. It is not overly heavy, even with steel poles. The poles and corner sockets are all color coded. It goes up best with 2 people, and is very stable when staked down. It is world's better than the old canvas tents and aluminum pole sections I grew up with. It's not indestructible in blizzards on mountain tops, but if you're careful with it, it will serve you well. ... show more
