I’ve owned these for three years, and I must say, for twenty bucks, you cannot go wrong. They are obviously light duty, so be kind and they’ll keep your feet and legs dry for at least three years. Don’t be rough with the zipper - make sure it’s fully engaged and gently pull. Don’t walk around too much on asphalt or you’ll damage the stirrups. I can’t believe mine are still trucking and looking good. I don’t write many reviews, but these are deserving!

These fit perfectly over my MUCK brand boots. Fortunately I saw the note to measure around your boot first. Thanks for having that little option. But, these are well made. They went on in a jiffy. Yep, I have them set-up fireman’s style; unzipped down a ways, ready to step-in and raise these up. No Velcro with these.

I wore my first pair over 2 years averaging 30 miles per week hiking and during the winter, 8 miles per week snowshoeing. The first pair’s foot strap was getting and thin and I replaced with a new pair. The new pair had a zipper issue after my third wearing. I contacted customer support and they responded promptly and replaced the entire pair; shipping to me with no charge. I prefer a zipper on gaiters. I considered a more expensive pair with Velcro. The Velcro takes a bit to adjust and collects dirt and debris and is loud taking off. The functionality of Hikeventure’s gaiters is what brings me back to them. They stay up, are adjustable, keep snow, ice, dirt, thorns, and brush out of my boots or trail runners and protect my legs all year long. I wear with winter and summer leggings, shorts, hiking dresses, and skorts. I also wear for wood cutting and muddy walks in my rural area. Easy on and off. You cannot get a better value and Hikeventure’s customer service is excellent.

It is a high-quality, well-designed and very effective waterproof product better than I had supposed before seeing and testing it. It is mentioned in Product Details that the lower half if the product is waterproof and the upper half is water-resistant. Indeed, these properties provide an effective protection against water as I tested it. The bottom strap is highly strong so that the product seems to be long-lasting. It is also satisfying that the customer service clearly declares that they will continue to be helpful to the customers even after the sale for any problem with the product after the sale. I am satisfied with both the product quality and design, and the price is also very satisfying. The customer service have a customer-satisfaction-oriented approach, as I saw their very effective problem-solving approach in the replacement process of the wrong size that I chose at first.

3rd time using these gators and they have all but fallen apart. They slide down your leg and bunch up after a bit of hiking, and the zippers start un-zipping backwards. Very cheap product. Threw them away already.
