  • Nice Vinyl
Size: 4ft x 5ft
I used this to black out the white between the windows on our Expedition and to two tone the door handles. I found it to be pretty forgiving on install and easy to work with. The stretchability is good and it adheres very well. I cleaned the surfaces with alcohol, wiped clean with a microfiber cloth then used a fine mist spray bottle with water to help with the install. It went on very well and was easy to work with and I have zero bubbles. The color and piano black finish is perfect, as you can see, it cleanly matches the dark tinted windows. It's not a thick vinyl, so will have to see how it holds up over a bit of time, but so far after install and a few car washes later it still looks great and seems to be a good quality vinyl. Wish it was a few inches wider so I could have done the chrome all the way around as the length is able to fiver all the doors as well but not the back chrome strip. So will have to find some more that will work and match. All in all though it looks great and I'm happy with the results. The price /value is pretty good, though I would like to see it for a touch less expensive, but guess thats a lot of things these days. Overall definitely recommend. ... show more

  • As a novice, this is not the easiest brand to use.
Size: 3.5ft x 5ft
To be fair I am not a professional at all, this is only the second time I have ordered and used vinyl car wrap. My rating has to be in comparison with the other product and the results in my little tests. My perspective is that of a female novice who does plenty of DIY and is pretty handy if I do say so myself. When I ordered this, I had only used car wrap once before. My training was limited to watching a slew of videos and the fact that my profession consists of using overlapping abilities and skills to applying car wrap. I believe that particular product can be properly manipulated by anyone who really knows what they are doing. I am however, giving it only 3 stars because in comparison with the other product I used, the forgiveness factor of this is just not there. This has a lot of stretch, but as it stretches there is a point where the surface is affected, and it is permanently affected. Think stretch marks... on your biceps when you lifted too much at the end of puberty and bulked up too quickly, or on your wife's belly when she was pregnant. The marks are always there. Even if you shrink this with your heat gun after pulling it too far, the marks do not go away. I am including some photos of the stretch marks. The glossiness is great, and as long as you make no major mistakes, it will remain nice and glossy for you. When you look at the back side of this as you peel the backing off you will see a pattern. I am sure this pattern helps it stretch and it is related to the adhesive. The more you stretch it, the more you see this texture on the front side. If you make a mistake and need to pull a portion up and rub it down a second time, you are risking a subtly lumpy finish. The other brand that I used (which was also from Amazon) kept the perfectly smooth finish even when it was gently pulled and reapplied. I made a wrinkle, heated it again, smoothed it out and reapplied at the proper angle. It looked just as good as the areas which were not peeled and reapplied. This product had some adhesive issues when I did this (see photos for the example...it is very subtle) I will not pretend I am an expert. My opinion is not realistic for someone who does this for their income. My two experiences were both with products made in China and sold on Amazon. I will not complain as if I believe it should be super easy to apply this to a vehicle. Doing this takes skill, no question! This product is more expensive than the other one I tried, it was not as easy to work with, it didn't have a top protective layer in the package, nor does it have any imprint on the backing (which I find useful in cutting roll products). So, I cannot give it 5 stars. I found the stretch marks frustrating enough that if this were my first attempt I would not even consider trying it again with any brand product, that is not the case with the other product I tried. I felt encouraged and capable of doing a good job with that one. If you've never done anything of the sort, aren't really good at any sort of craft, art, DIY project, or have zero skills related to your hands...applying car wrap is not a task for you. If you are not truly confident in your ability to use car wrap, I would not recommend this particular product. It's not a brand for difficult curvy areas and an unskilled set of hands. Most people could do the hood with this, no problem! ... show more

  • Strong wrap with a deep black color
Size: 2ft x 5ft
Great gloss black vinyl wrap, I use it for interior trim pieces and it is thick but manageable. You can use it for whatever you like and a little bit of heat goes a long way.

  • Good vinyl plus a degree of "fix-ability" in the product
Size: 3.5ft x 5ft
As noted in another review, I'd stuck with a couple brands for doing most of my chrome delete, but as I've worked on finishing the project, have tried some other brands and styles of wrap for the detail work. This PBEE Scratch Heat Repair High Gloss Piano Black Premium Vinyl Roll for Car Wrap, (3.5ft x 5ft) was a really great product to try, and in retrospect, I wish I'd had it for my mirror wraps, as that was the install that required the most handling of the vinyl to install, and thanks to my co-workers, it's the vinyl that encounters the most unintentional bumps and scrapes. But given a really busy winter, I'm holding off on re-doing the mirrors until later, so was able to try this PBEE vinyl on my emblem project, which has probably required the most stretching, re-positioning, and overall handling of any install so far. The vinyl itself is nicely workable. Overall, it seemed to enjoy a 65 degree day more than a 59 degree day, and I expect a 75 degree day would make it even easier to install. Working outside with a handy heat gun, it did fine, even with lots of repositioning. It seems to have slightly more density to it than your average wrap, but I attribute this to the "fixable" nature of the product. Once again, I'm trying my best to defy the laws of physics by asking my vinyl to make near-impossible curves and contours. I have concave sections on my emblem that I knew would take a lot of nudging with the tools, so this was the perfect product to test as "repairable" after it had been asked to do extreme yoga. The "repair factor" seemed most effective with smaller creases and folds. I see that other reviewers had tried the "I squeezed my vehicle down a sidewalk flanked with rosebushes" type test and found the material slightly less repairable for large area, longitudinal scratches, which is not something I was dealing with during this aspect of install, but I can vouch for getting a liquid-shiny finish to the vinyl after (basically wadding it up and stretching it out) a close-quarters, small area install. So yes, it does "self-repair" to an effective degree with small-scale marring. I didn't do the "rosebush" test myself, but would want to try several different approaches before I gave any final thumbs-up/thumbs down on that level of "repairability." For my project, it did what I needed it to do, and made working in a small space a little less anxiety-inducing knowing that I would be able to smooth out any scratches, which it did. I do think it's a great vinyl for larger panels, and will look into matching some areas on the top of my vehicle that need extra protection from the sun. Good adherence, even with the multiple re-positioning, and a nice, beautiful, shiny appearance on the final install. Apologize for the long review, but wanted to clarify the factors that worked for me so you'll be better informed. ... show more

  • Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in different vinyl options.
Size: 3ft x 5ft
The color is exactly as advertised. Super easy to install. Doesn't bubble up at all. Great value for the money and seems to be made of good quality. Functions exactly as intended. I'm definitely happy with it.

This was really easy to use and apply. It really helps having the sticky back before you apply the heat.
