  • Good quality, minimal changes so far
The wand itself feels like it's well-made. I like that they give you three tubes and that the mushroom one is wider while the bent tube covers a smaller more precise area. However, I don't use the come tube ever and could do without it since I have really thick hair. I've been starting with the lowest frequency setting and the changes in my skin (I do have acne and blemishes) has been slow but enough to tell there's a slight difference from not using this tool to now using it for several weeks. I'm hoping to see more changes in the coming weeks. ... show more

  • Great set
I have a corded wand with argon gas that I have used several months. I find it really helps in shrinking blemishes that have popped up. From beauty sites I read the standard description is Argon works for acne/oily skin and Neon works for anti-aging. But, when watching youtube videos, most said they found either gas worked well on their acne. I do not know if neon actually aids in any way collagen production but I assume it can't hurt. The tubes on this device say they contain a mixture of 10%argon to 90% neon. This one works exactly as my corded one but with a few "upgrades" in my opinion. First, this one utilizes a push "safety" button to start/stop the electric current. This is great because on my other one, I need to "ground" the tube with my finger before placing on my skin since the tubes are electrified as soon as I turn on the dial. This one, I turn on the dial and place it on my skin then push the button to start the current. I just find it easier and convenient. Another upgrade is the wireless feature. It is nice not to deal with a cord but it does come with some potential downsides. The handle is larger and heavier due to the battery (see pic comparison). I do wonder, also, how much voltage you will get as the battery drains. With the corded option I know I am getting a consistent frequency every time. But, as the battery level lowers, will that affect the efficiency of the wand? The wands are shorter than my other set and also a little bit thicker. They will not fit into my previous handle. However, my argon wands, being just a tad smaller, will fit into the cordless one so I can combine them together. You get 3 wand shapes (mushroom, pinpoint and a comb). There are several intensity options with the adjustable dial but higher intensity isn't always better. Start low and work your way up over time. But, low intensity can be just as effective. This box came completely plastic wrapped so I know it is new which is important to me as buyer of facial appliances. It is packed very well with lots of padding. TIPS: --For those unfamiliar with this type of device, please go familiarize yourself with how to handle! These can cause injury if handled incorrectly. --Wrap gauze around the tips for more effectiveness and easier gliding --Be careful handling the glass tubes and grip closer to the tube's bottom rather than pushing from the top which could lead to excess pressure and breakage ... show more

  • Functions well, but the jury is still out on the results
This device functions well, but I haven't seen visible results yet. I think this works best on people who suffer from acne, but I only have occasional breakouts. There is very little research on the efficacy of this type of device, but they are promising. This wand is well-made and easy to use. Pros: Portable - since this is rechargeable, it is easy to take this just about anywhere. Rechargeable- this has a magnetic charger connection. With a standard USB end so it can work with most charging blocks I have lying around my house. Great battery life- I've only had to charge this once, and the battery has lasted for multiple treatments over the past several weeks. Even if I leave the device in the box for several days, the battery stays charged. Multiple wand heads- this contains three wand heads, which helps customize the treatment to specific needs. Adjustable output - the adjustment knob on the bottom of the wand allows the user to dial up the intensity from low to high. Cons: Wanda rotates freely in the base- this is great for my face, but not so great when combing through my thick, long hair. The comb glides across the top of my hair rather than digging through to my scalp. I find it better to tap the comb onto my scalp while I hold my hair back with my opposite hand. Creates a strange odor- the neon and argon gasses react upon skin contact and leave a singed, burnt odor in the air. No battery life indicator- I won't know when it's time to charge this until it stops working. This isn't a huge deal breaker, but it would be a helpful feature. Overall, this seems to be a high-quality device. I'm not sure if it works as well as my red light devices on my skin type, but I'll continue to experiment and update if I notice significant changes. ... show more

  • Good quality and works well
When I first opened the box, it looked like I received a personal massager and some glass pipes, but after checking, it was the correct unit. The directions are minimal as well as the many intended uses. The complete directions are in the 2 photos. Doesnt even mention the charging indicators. Mine was solid red at first and then blinked red and then went back to solid red. The magnetic charger is similar to the watch chargers and can fall off easily and you really dont know which way it should be oriented as it connects either way. The magnet should be stronger in my opinion. Also there is no indicator when you turn the unit on. Insertion of the tools was easy and when touched to skin it looks like a plasma ball that you touch. With the highest settings, you want to already have it touching your skin before you push the button. If you push the button first and then touch your skin, you can feel the initial zap. Nothing painful, but you will notice. I used the mushroom tip around my eyes to give a bit of a lift and see how well it does on the dark bags i have. I had a noticeable lift on my eyes. It was noticeable to me since I have ptosis and I I could see better. You cant do your eyelids according to the directions. In my opinion, the effect was similar to a shot of botox without the numbness. I feel like there should be some serum or something you can use to help it glide or infuse vitamins, but there is no mention of if you can or cant. I am also interested to see how it does on my scalp. You know, going bald to. lol. But I have some spots I can test for sure. If anything changes drastically good or bad, I will try to update ... show more
