Does exactly what it is supposed to do - shows individual tyre pressure and alerts when it is low. Installation took a bit of time - especially if done for the first time. It helps to fold down the back seat to gain better access, and wear gloves (the plastic panels are on the hard side with sharp edges). Using a plastic prying tool greatly facilitates the process - just take it slow and calm. There is no clear place to place the new module - i just tucked it under a wire harness (after sticking part of the supplied velcro to the module and the other part to the metal panel of the car). YouTube videos are really helpful in this regard - the included so-called "manual" is totally useless. In my case the module has read the tyre pressure very fast - less than one minute. I also followed the great comments from previous buyers about calibration: 1. Go into the menu - a new option will pop up under one of the sections (see my pictures). The measurements are in kPa - it's a RAV4 XA50 for the European market. 2. Deflate the tyres strictly in this order - left front (in my case - driver side) for 1.0 kPa, then the front right (my passenger) to 1.3, then left back to 1.6 and right back to 1.9 => see attached picture. The module or the car starts to re-arrange the tyres' position after 1 minute or so - in my case when the third tyre was deflated it already understood where everything is. 3. Once all is ok - pump it up back to normal pressure (in my case, as per label on the door frame - 2.3 kPa). One interesting thing - even after all tyres were indicating perfectly 2.3, and this was confirmed with a manometer (pressure gauge on the pump), the front right tyre kept its orange color and the warning that there is low pressure. I drove a bit around, restarted the car - it was still there. So i went into the menu to reset the tyre pressure - just like after any tyre change. It worked and afterwards all was ok - see attached picture. I think its great value for money - really don't understand why Toyota would not offer this function by default or as part of a dealership upgrade package. Connections feels solid and fool-proof - no way to connect them the wrong way. There are zip-ties includes to tie the module and wires, as well as dual velcro patches to stick the module to car panels - so good kit overall. PS: have only installed this today - will see how it will resist the test of time, and whether the velcro will keep the module in one place so that it doesn't rattle.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front). The product works! It adds real-time, individual tire pressure readings to a tab within the driver's display. Most Toyota RAV 4's 2019 - 2022 do not have individual tire pressure display on the vehicle's driver information display. This module adds that functionality. You can obtain the information with a paid subscription via the Toyota app. This product avoids that subscription fee. After installation, scroll to the vehicle icon (which has pages for battery charging animation, trip display, and individual wheel power). With this product you will have a 4th page, previously non-existent, showing individual tire pressures (in kPa) except for base model RAV 4, which shows in psi. The units are NOT changeable. The driver's door jamb displays recommended tire pressures in both psi and kPa. The conversion is kPa divided by 7 is psi (very close). The display looks factory. In fact, I think Toyota must have originally planned to add this feature to certain models and had the wiring / programming already in place, because this product adds an item to your display that wasn't there before. Installation: The wiring is very easy. The plugs only fit 1 way. The challenge is replacing the right rear interior plastic panel -- specifically getting the clips to align with the holes. I broke 2 clips and a couple more fell off. I recommend you obtain some replacement plastic clips before you install this. There are many manufacturers here on Amazon that will sell them for less than $10. Just search Toyota plastic interior clips or Toyota door trim retainer clips. Unfortunately, the installation instructions are in Chinese and without pictures. The best way to learn how to install this, is to watch a video. I cannot link the video here, b/c my review will be rejected (I tried). Just search for it. With the aid of the video, installation is easy - takes about 30 minutes. IMPORTANT: In order for the tire pressure readings to read for the correct tire, you must calibrate it after installation. The steps. Turn the vehicle on and scroll to the individual tire pressure display: 1. Release the air pressure of the left front wheel until the instrument panel displays data(100kpa / 14 psi) 2. Release the air pressure of the right front wheel until the instrument panel displays data(130kpa / 19 psi) 3. Release the air pressure of the left rear wheel until the instrument panel displays data(160kpa / 23 psi) 4. Release the air pressure of the right rear wheel until the instrument panel displays data(190kpa / 27 psi) Once you complete these steps, wait until the car display correctly displays these low pressures for the correct tires as above. Then, go ahead a re-fill the tires to the recommended pressure (220 - 240 kPa / 33 - 35 psi)

The TPMS monitor does work on my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid. As noted in the description and other reviews, it displays as kPa, not PSI, but the door sticker tell you what kPa (as well as PSI), you tires should be. It takes longer to calibrate than to install. After viewing a couple YouTube videos, I loosened the bottom right panel, and took off the top right panel in the cargo area. Plugged the included cable into the monitor box, then removed the RAV4 cable from the corresponding module on the cargo wall and made the connections between the TPMS module and the Toyota cable and box. Using the included hook and loop patch, I attached the TPMS module to the cargo wall and put the upper panel back in and affixed the bottom panel. After turning on my RAV4, the module did display the graphic of the vehicle and started populating the tire pressures. The display did say to turn off the vehicle, which I did. In order to view the diagram and the tire pressures, I had to open the driver side window. It took some time to deflate the front left to 100 kPa, and the front right to 130 kPa. At that point the module did display the reduced pressures in the correct locations, and even mapped the rear tires to the proper locations, but I continued to deflate the left rear, then the right rear to make sure the initialization was complete. Once all of the reduced pressures were displayed at the proper tire locations, I shut off my vehicle and began reinflating all of the tires with a battery operated inflator. I pumped all the tires up to 36 PSI (as specified on the door jamb sticker) and started the RAV4 once again. I slowly initialized and showed the kPa pressures, though they were slightly lower than expected, possibly because of scale, but close enough. I have driven my vehicle and the tire pressures did increase (as expected) as the tires warmed up. The next exciting hurdle will be to see if the position of the tires will be recognized when the tires are rotated. I am hoping I will not have to recalibrate the sensors, but I expect I will have to drive a distance to get the TPMS module to recognize the new locations of each tire.

If you're uncomfortable removing interior trim panels, take this thing to a car audio installation shop and pay them to do it. Also, I wasn't quite sure where to attach the device once it was connected, so I stuck it on the inside of the quarter panel. It's probably fallen off by now, but it isn't too heavy to dangle. I was frustrated to learn that my 2020 Rav 4 hybrid didn't display individual tire pressures, just a generic low pressure warning. I read about this device online and ordered one. Once installed, it worked as advertised. It displays tire pressure in kPa, not PSI, but once you know what the reading should be, it doesn't really matter (there's a sticker on the inside edge of the driver-side door that lists recommended pressures in kPa and PSI). The tire pressure information is shown on the dashboard display, not the infotainment screen. You have to scroll through several screens, but the tire info is there.

No instructions at all, all in Chinese, however, if you re good at DIY, you'll make it work. It's kPa, which is actually not that bad. 1 psi = 6.89476 kPa, simple. It is a good improvement for my car, specially for winter.

Hello, I installed the HIGH FLYING TPMS module on my Toyota RAV4 2019. It works correctly, but it displays tire pressure in kPa (e.g. 235) instead of PSI (34). Is there a way to change the display units to PSI? If so, please provide the instructions. Thank you.

Bricked my BCM. One of my sensors went out and Toyota couldn’t communicate to find which sensor and it ended up being this device causing the interference. Once they removed it, it started working again
