These are a high quality pair of hair cutting scissors. The presentation is excellent as these come in a beautiful box and there is an included blade cover. The set includes a long comb, lubrication oil, a little tool to adjust the tension screw on the scissors, and a cleaning cloth. Also there are instruction booklets/information included. Be careful as these are super sharp but I noticed right away the ergonomic handles are very comfortable in my hand. Nice weight and these are really easy to use. Precise cutting even in thick hair. According to the instructions, these should be oiled daily to preventing rusting. I won't be using these every day since I'm not a pro stylist but for under $100, these are a great deal for hair cutting scissors.

I cut a lot of hair, being a DIY non-professional who cuts family & friends (& my own hair). But I have a hair kit that is slim in high quality cutting and thinning shears. I opted to order the thinning shears b/c of all the cutting options, thinning shears were at the top of my list. They are so important for detail on the sides, ends and layering and these are the exceptional quality that I need. My order just arrived and I’ve already done 3 haircuts. These shears give me the ability to get the detail SO much easier. With razor sharp edges, I got the thinning shears with the 10-15% hair removal rate to achieve the look I want. The scissors are 6” long and perfectly shaped for my hands. So comfortable to hold. I don’t have anything that is this well-built that provides this kind of precision. Each thinning blade is convex angled in such a way that I get results quicker and the more I work with them, the more I’m bonding with the ease of manipulation and control that I’ve not had before. Every haircut ends up with results that are exactly what I was going for. I’m SO impressed. Believe me when I say it’s the scissors and not me that is making the difference. The shears came in a very classy & giftable package with a cleaning cloth, oil, a tension adjuster and a lovely comb. They suggest that you clean & oil the scissors daily to “protect them against rust and chemical deterioration.” The instruction booklets are clear and helpful. I’m less nervous about great results now b/c these shears reliably deliver them. They deserve 10 out of 5 stars for performance and durability.
