I wish there was a link to "how to videos" as neither my son or I have formal drawing experience and didn't understand what all the items were for. Nothing a little google search couldn't handle. Of note, there are some sharp items so keep that in mind if you have young kids or plan to take with you through TSA.

Love, charcoal, drawing love, graphite, drawing the set as a lot of the tools that you always need to refill great price for what you get. All the pencils have worked wonderfully when getting sharpened they don’t break off and weird places from stress fractures would recommend to anyone.

This would be a great kit for a student or someone starting out with sketching and wanting to try different media. It arrived with all the bits advertised, including various hardnesses of pencils and charcoal, some dark pastels, white pencils, and a white gel pen. The included paper isn't great and is in a spiral-bound pad, but that's sort of reassuring because you don't feel bad about crappy initial sketches. It's nice to have the black and tan pages for different techniques (white pencil on black, pastels or charcoals or a combo of white and black on the tan). The accessories are all the bits I had to buy separately for my drawing classes - sandpaper paddle for sharpening, kneaded eraser, etc. Everything fits in a well-made binder that fits into a backpack or messenger bag. My only knocks against it is that it can be a little hard to use on the go, because there's so much stuff and some of it slips out of its loops, so you really need a large flat place to put it, and the quality of the pencils and charcoal isn't the best (but it's perfectly fine for learning). Overall good value for the money!
