I put this together myself in about 2 hours…attaching the sides to the headboard was the trickiest part, after that it was smooth sailing. The metal seems super sturdy and not flimsy. You don’t need a box spring with this.

This is a must! I got it for my daughter and she loves it! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! It was easy to assemble, all pieces were labeled with letters and numbers, all holes were in the correct spots and once finished it was very sturdy. We got an 8in mattress in a box to go with it and we think that’s a bit too small for that frame. I recommend getting a 10 -12in mattress with it. The package arrived earlier than expected! It wasn’t hard to assemble, but I’d recommend 2 adults or 1 expert builder to put the frame together. I struggled a bit with the wooden boards, but ended up figuring it out. This frame is a lot sturdier than my other frame, and I sleep so much better now.
