I had never purchased amp this small. I was curious if it would be able to push my B&W CM5’s and my Klipsch 12” sub for my gaming set up. Sounds like overkill I know but it’s not when you hear it. I was looking for a unit that also had subwoofer out. The unit also has Bluetooth and that’s just a plus. The unit itself has switches to go from Bluetooth RCA or phono. It also has a base switch that allows you to switch from boost to flat. Also has a tone switch to turn on and off and allows you to switch from blue to orange or just off for the LED lights. I did purchase it during prime day so I did receive a small discount, but even if it was regular price, they would still be well worth the money. ... show more

This two tube amp is amazing...great build and sound quality! I wanted it for the phono input and I could not be more pleased with the sound I'm getting from playing vinyl on my vintage Technics SL-D2 turntalbe and Radio Shack speakers. I say "buy one", you won't regret it. I must say I did not like it being shipped to me from Amazon in its original box with no tape to hold the top flaps in place (PO left it on my front step with the top open and flaps not tucked in and it had started to rain before I returned home but got it before the box got totally soaked and amp was ok)...I must say that I was disappointed that Amazon would ship electronic equipment without being securely packaged. Tested against Fosi T3 & this is not as warm but has higher highs and lower bass both equal but different. Sucks high cheap it looks and feels though

[Edit 7/23/23: 1 star removed because Bluetooth stopped working today, and upon reading other forums including Douk's own, this appears to be a common issue with this unit. However, Douk Audio support is great, and I would expect they will send out a replacement Bluetooth board to put into the unit (easy install, no soldering). Will update this review with a 5 star rating again assuming this is what happens.) This little integrated amp does so many things and does them well: Phono preamp, power amp, vacuum tube stage, EQ controls, LFE sub out (game changer for my sub), Bluetooth 5.0 w/ APTX, and to top it off, a beautiful aesthetic design. Most importantly, it sounds downright amazing for its size and power. I switched from a Topping TP22 amp and Nobsound Hifi 6J Bluetooth tube preamp, and the change is unmistakable. Way punchier and tighter bass with the LFE out, cleaner mids and highs, much stronger dynamics in general, and no matter my audio source - vinyl, CD, tape, or BT - it all sounds great. Two caveats - 1) when using a sub via the LFE output, the bass control becomes more of a speaker crossover than an actual EQ, adjusting the mid-bass frequencies in your speakers (like 200-400Hz) and nothing in the sub. This is a little unfortunate as it means separately controlling the sub volume, but not a huge deal. 2) I had to return a unit due to a buzzing sound in the right speaker outs when in Bluetooth mode. The replacement unit had the same issue as well, but I realized by disconnecting the antenna, the noise went away. I suppose this might be BT/RF/wireless "noise" in the environment, combined with the very aggressive 320W amp powering the signal. If you get this same issue in your unit, just disconnect the antenna, it's not super necessary anyway. All said, I cannot believe this amp is the price that it is. If you have a similar setup with multiple sources and want strong, punchy, clear yet warm sound, and don't want to spend big money get the X1.     • Superb product for pre-amp use and the built-in amp is fabulous too.
This is a really value-packed product. The first one I got had a Bluetooth issue but the second works flawlessly. I use this with my Fluance turntable to power some Klipsch bookshelf speakers and a Rockville 6.5" powered sub (which this unit also supports). I was so skeptical! I got a couple of Advent Legacy II’s for my gf’s house as she had tasked me with getting her home audio situation in order. Was thinking this little amp would have no chance pushing those 10” woofers…boy did it show me. Sounded a bit tinny in the highs out of the box, almost like a low bitrate type sound. After about 10 hours of low-mid listening I’m astounded at how good this thing is. It’s all about value ratio with this little guy - low price high quality is what you’re getting. Does very well for our game room set up. Klipsch r12sw and a pair of r15m. Takes a little tinkering with bass knob and subwoofer gain to get it right but worth it. After several hours of runtime the sound warms up nicely. For the price it's great for our 2.1 setup
