Applicable glass type Suitable for all smooth surface (non-bumpy) glass. Not suitable for rough surface and porous surface glass such as wood, tile or glass. Even for the structure of laminated glass and mesh glass, the surface is flat (smooth) and can be used safely. However, in areas exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time (such as the Equatorial region), glass with steel wire or mesh, and Double Glazing and other films with a high heat absorption rate, heat cracking may occur. Please understand. 1. This window film is made of imported materials from Europe and America, healthy PET material, thicker than ordinary PVC material, more durable. 2. I like them and I thought they were easy to install. I did get the window application kit do they were very easy to cut. I used soapy water in a spray bottle. They are private even at night and still allow light in.

    • Does this job although a tad bit frustrating

I had my husband help me install this on our back storm door, it wasn't too difficult although I doubt i would have been able to successfully install it on my own. It adheres nicely and has been in place for a few weeks now with no peeling, curling, etc. It's 'see throughness' is my only bother, it's very obvious something is on th glass and really distorts our view ( we purchased it for birding purposes, so my son doesn't scare them away). I find myself walking over to a near by window to confirm what I'm looking at. But it does help with cooling, even in the winter the sun would bake the floor and now it's comfortable to stand there. It's also doing a great job hiding our movement in the house, I have to get very close to the glass for me to be able to see into the room. I plan on purchasing another roll or two for a few more windows in the house ... show more

    • Provides privacy for upstairs windows but not perfect

Provides privacy, at least from a distance. Since I installed these in upstairs windows, I can't tell if they would work if someone stood directly outside. It also seems to adhere pretty well, though I haven't had it long enough to determine if this would last months or years. This product is definitely not perfect though. If even a speck of dust gets trapped behind the film, it will cause bubbling, and you won't have a totally clear view through the window. This is despite my best efforts to clean both the film and window with Windex before applying. I'm going to wait a few days to see if the bubbles will reduce or disappear, but I may return the product if I still don't like the results. I agree with other reviewers that a thicker film would probably work better. Note: some people misunderstand and think that this product provides privacy at night. It does not. If the lights inside your house are on, people will be able to see inside. There is a warning in the product description about this. This happens for all one way privacy films, not just this one. ... show more

    • Pretty easy

These are like so simple to apply. The only little hinge is getting the plastic free from its protective coating because it’s so thin and it’s all like saran wrap, thin coding so I think my biggest struggle was trying to get my fingernail between the two of them to pull it apart But just kind of measure really well the window and then I cut slightly larger than the window to be safe and then once it was adhered, I got an X-Acto blade to tighten up the edges because if you cut too small, you’re gonna see the gap and it’s gonna annoy you But once you get it off that plastic wrap it’s so easy a little soy water and it’s on and if you want it off you just stick your nail under it and blow it off it’s super simple so it’s great for rentals if you have to remove things when you move out and the privacy is nice ... show more

It was easy to install. Had use a strip that I trimmed off other side to finish filling covering window but that’s avoidable if you buy the right amount 🥲 other than that easy peasy. Looks great!

    • A Good Summertime Heat Solution

Pro: • Fairly easy to install with a cutting matte, a straight edge, a sharp (Olfa-style) knife, a spray bottle with soapy water and a squeegee. • Reduces interior temperatures (sometimes up to 10ºF lower than exterior temperatures, in our case) and stress/reliance on AC. • Can easily be stripped off - no sticky adhesive. Cons: • Had some trouble with sticking around the edges after the film dries out a few weeks later. Required re-application of water and squeegee. • Reduces visual clarity of windows somewhat and introduces slight aberration to the view, even with careful application - so, a bit of a functional price to pay for lower interior temperatures. ... show more
