This is pretty average wire and bendy but I've had problems with it breaking more easily than I would expect--even for aluminum wire. I'll surely find some use for it but won't expect it to hold up as fence wire.

I was not sure about using aluminum wire as opposed to steel (which is what I normally use), but it seems to work without issues. It is a bit thin, however, so extended runs may need a thicker gauge wire. Installation was a breeze using a rod threaded through the middle of the spool. For my small 32'x32' paddock it works great. I currently have it attached to a solar electric fence charger to contain my pigs. A strong enough charge can be propogated to deter pressing against the wire or the fence. With this being aluminum as opposed to steel, oxidation is not an issue. ... show more
