OK so this was a fantastic deal. I ordered the Hiboss twin size mattress at 12 inches thick. It is advertised as a hybrid mattress but for me it doesn't feel like a hybrid mattress. What it does feel like is a traditional Simmons pocketed coil mattress with a slightly cheaper top layer. Now of all the mattress types for me the traditional Simmons pocket coil mattress was the best more comfortable design. It the product description boast about having a pillow top supported by layers of gel and memory foam. I haven't taken the mattress apart and if they are in there then I suspect they are really thin layers as I don't get the sense or feel of a slow mold memory foam or a gel. And I've slept and own all these different types of mattresses. For me it is a rather cheap topping over pocketed coils of what are probably medium to low quality coils. On the bottom side you can feel the springs right on your hand. And on the top side if you push your hand down hard enough you can also feel the coils. So I think they have over sold or over exaggerated the quality of the topping portion of the mattress. While the padding over the coils isn't super think or super great it doesn't really take away from the quality of the sleep. The bed does an excellent job of providing the right amount of support at the right locations. It contours to my body just right. At the edges the mattress isn't bad. It doesn't have the best reinforced side construction when comparing it to other pocketed coil mattresses I've tried but it is decent and certainly not the worst. Setup: Set up was super easy. We simply removed it from it's package and it it unrolled and inflated on its own in a matter of seconds. Initially the mattress had a slight warp to it from being rolled up during delivery. But it quickly flattened out after sleeping on it for one night. You would never be able to tell this mattress came in a box or rolled up packaging. Temperature: The bed definitely sleep cool. I tend to have sweat at night if the bed is hot at all and I haven't had any problems like that at all. The mattress breaths well and doesn't heat up from your body temperature. Sleep type: I'm typically a side sleeper. But one thing I love about the pocketed coil mattresses, is that you can sleep on your side or back and the bed contours to your body just right. I've been sleeping on this now for over a week and I have gotten good sleep every single night. Firmness: The mattress was advertised as a medium in firmness and I can confirm that it fits right into that category perfectly. It isn't super soft where your body sinks in and the bed molds around your body. And it isn't super stiff either. Definitely a nice medium firmness. Durability: I suspect that this won't have a long a life as say a brand name Simmons or Temperpedic mattress but it doesn't have to because the price point is 2 to 3x less expensive than the brand names in the stores. I'm 100% confident it will last a good 3 to 5 years. Value: On the day of my order this was priced at $129.99 which had a $70 off coupon included. At this price it is an insanely fantastic good deal. Even at full price of $199.00 I think this is a good deal. For a 12" mattress of this quality it really is a great price value range. I believe it will last at least five years so it is a really great deal for the money. If it last even longer than that the deal just keeps getting better. Conclusion: I would definitely order another one. If this twin size mattress performs as I expect it to over the course of the next few months I plan on ordering another one in the King size. It is a really great value for the quality you get.

I needed a mattress to replace the very old twin one in our office/guest room and was a little leery of buying one online. But this one impressed me right from the start. It was securely rolled up in plastic in a big box and delivered with care to my porch. This mattress is heavy!! The 40 lbs. listed in the description is absolutely accurate. Also the warning to stay out of the way when unrolling it is accurate too! You do need to get out of the way because it unrolls fast once the plastic is mostly off, and it almost knocked my husband over! It looks exactly as pictured, and the dark gray fabric cover is heavy-duty and will resist stains should you choose to tempt fate and not use a mattress cover. The stitching is even and well-done. It is definitely medium-firm as advertised, and you can feel the coil supports. This should help not only with longevity of the mattress but also with support for your body as you sleep. I can feel the different levels of support in the different zones across the length of the mattress, and they are in exactly the right spots for comfort. Even though it is medium-firm, it is very comfortable even for someone like me, who usually likes the softest mattress in the store. I did notice that the zones are evenly spaced so that you can rotate the mattress from top to bottom which possibly might give it some extra longevity as well. It does have a 3” layer of memory foam on top, plus there are extra coils around the edge of the mattress. That makes it easy to sit on without sliding off, which is definitely an upgrade from every other mattress I’ve owned. One of my pictures shows how deep it is with a 3” foam mattress topper on it, which I am not sure I even need because it is comfortable as is. But I put it on to see if my standard deep pocket sheets and mattress protector would fit, and indeed they do. The mattress is 12” deep as described. I am not sure how cooling this mattress would be; the gray fabric and memory foam seem warm to me. But it does have a good return policy if you don’t like it (although obviously I haven’t used that) This mattress is a good buy and really nice quality considering the low price. It would be great for kids bedrooms or guest rooms. If you like a medium firm mattress this is definitely for you! If you like softer, you can put a foam topper on it, and it still will work great! Obviously I can’t speak as to how long this mattress will last yet but will update my review accordingly. This does definitely seem higher quality than you would expect at this price point, so I don’t expect it to wear out quickly however. I would even expect that this would take a bit of jumping up and down on it by small munchkins, but I’m definitely not going to try it! Great mattress at a great price!
