Update: Seller contacted me and admitted they sent me a used product. Said they were willing to “make it right” but then he asked for my address and phone number??? This is something Amazon states you should not do. Once I told him Amazon’s policy he dropped off. Scam? I don’t know. I got the Hiboost 4k Pro It was easier to install than I thought it would. I was able to use the old Direct TV sattelite dish roof mount to install the booster antenna and run the cable through the hole in the wall from where the old Direct TV coaxial cable went into the house. I didn't have anyone helping me aim the antenna to see where the best cell tower signal to use, but I setup my tablet camera pointed at the screen on the main booster unit and did a video call to my phone so I could see the cell signal strength as I aimed the antenna at different towers to find the best tower to use. My call quality inside my house went up dramatically, my cell signal displayed on my phone went up to 4 bars but that really doesn't tell you much since you essentially just put a cell tower inside your house! What matters is how well the cell signal you have your antenna aimed at is boosted and repeated inside your house. As said before voice call quality went up dramatically. Before I installed the booster (I'm on T-mobile and their coverage in my neighborhood is bad) my calls would drop, my phone would constantly be switching towers and I'd have erractic data transfer speeds with all the tower switching which would also drain my battery fast. Calls in my basement just wouldn't happen, ever. It's been about a month and now with the booster I get steady coverage upstairs AND downstairs! For reference, I'm in a suburban area and it works. Just saying that since a lot of people that get these live in rural areas. Hopefully it continues to work as well as it does, I will buy another external antenna (there are ports for (2) external antennas in the 4G Plus Pro) to put in my backyard for better cell coverage on the ground in my yard too! Went from two bars of not great signal without booster, to four bars showing on the phone, but completely much worse than without. Had to turn it off completely, everyone in the house was dropping calls constantly. Wi-fi assist from my router does better than the booster. Probably works better for people with a higher signal coming in to boost from. My signal was in the -3db range from my carrier, which is supposed to be 'acceptable'. But, apparently not good enough. I will keep it and hope for better luck in the future as the carriers hopefully upgrade the towers in my area. I am in the mountains near Asheville, NC. ... show more

Amp amplifies, ie, boosts -120 -130 outside signal to -100 -110 inside signal, not great, but better. Gone are the no signal times. Blue tooth & wifi won't connect, network error, timeout etc. (known problem for over a year by company, not yet resolved). Tech support honest: many just don't connect, they sent a replacement amp, same issues. No 600 mhz (band 71) support for T-Mobile. Occasional grayout during phone calls. Phone battery life better. 5 T-Mobile towers within 5 miles, cannot not determine proper aiming direction for the yagi. Regardless of pointing direction, always connecting to a differnt tower in a different direction. ... show more
