Love the product. It is really making a difference - when playing on Meta Quest 3 I noticed my eyes used to get very dry and I had to keep washing my face every 20-30m or so. My forehead also got very sweaty and hair used to fall into the eye area. This is because of the snug fit leading to lack of oxygen/air inside the unit like in swim goggles. Picture also used to become hazy/foggy at times. Putting this on was a breeze (no pun intended). Old cover snaps off and new one snaps in. Just had to adjust the foam/cottony face cover area with the nice velcro to not close my nose :) The little tiny power bank on setting 1 (slow to fast to slow) is best as it gently recirculates air leading to these benefits - * no more dry eyes * no more forehead sweat after even 1 hour of play on a physical game * no more fogging of the lenses * picture quality became sharper actually due to the lack of fogging * keeps unit cool as well The build quality is good and fit is perfect. So far so good and only thing would be battery and how long it would last per charge (3.5hr for setting 1/ 2.5hr for setting 2 per manual) and overall lifetime. Even if you stop it there's a channel for air intake so even without it, air would come in, but not as much which is required imo. Overall, this is a great product and very utilitarian.

This cooling fan mask for the Oculus 3 is nice! It is well-made and seems very sturdy. The material mask feels nice and fits a little more snugly, blocking more light around your nose. The fan is rechargeable and works well. It was too cold to use it lately but when it warms up outside I will be so glad I have this. No more sweaty mask face. Easy to install and works perfectly. Oh, and the face pads are velcro so you can adjust them to fit your face better. Would highly recommend it!

This is the second VR headset fan system I've tried. This one is a different brand (Hibloks) an doesn't dry my eyes out like the last one did. If I had to criticize anything, it's that I wish this model had a "stutter" function where the fan comes on for a few seconds, then cuts off for a few, an repeat the cycle. This would make the battery last longer, but also would help with the dry eyes problem so many of these types of units facilitate. To be fair, the Hibloks didn't do that as much as my last headset fan did, but still does a bit if I just leave the fan on. I find that I usually keep it turned off unless the lenses start to fog, at which point I'll switch on for a minute or so, an it does a good job. With intense sweaty games like Pistol Whip, I leave it on the whole session.

The fan itself is probably one of the best available, especially for the price. You can really feel the airflow; it completely eliminates lens fog and greatly reduces sweat/overheating without drying your eyes. My only issues are: 1) The facial interface is very similar to the stock option in that it's a sponge and the Lycra cover isn't removable, so when you do sweat - say during an intense round of Beat Saber - it absorbs it all and that gets gross pretty quick, especially with more than one person using it. Not a huge deal as I already use a sweat band, but still a takeaway. 2) The extra padding around the nose does a great job of blocking light which I love, but it comes at the cost of not being able to comfortably breathe through your nose and being flat out unusable for those with larger noses. 3) An issue that's hopefully a production flaw rather than a product flaw, is that on the one I received, the non-removable cover for the interface doesn't cover one spot which causes the sponge to bulge out to a degree that puts slightly more pressure on one side of your face than the other, which is annoying but again, just a takeaway, not a huge deal. My only other complaint is that I now see they offer an alternate facial interface that looks to be of far superior quality, made of PU with a removable and expanding nose piece which is great, but it costs nearly as much as the entire setup which is just insulting. It's really annoying that they don't just use the superior interface to begin with, or even offer the ability to just buy it with the fan for say $50 instead of $36, as opposed to the nearly $70 (it was $39 when I bought it) it would cost to buy the superior interface in addition to the fan. Frankly, it just tells me that while they make good products, the company itself is greedy. All in all a decent product, just with a few flaws that some may find to be pretty minor, while others will be forced to purchase the alternate interface. I'm sure I'll end up having to buy it at some point but I'll avoid it as long as possible, both out of principle and lack of funds. If you have the money for both the product itself and the alternate interface then I highly recommend doing so, as you probably won't find a better fan.
