Installed very easy, my wife loves it. Installed in a few minutes, the only problem was the connecting to the very old house hot water line. Found the right connections at Ace Hardware and had it installed in 20 minutes. BUT, the unit quit functioning in 10 days. One of the three water tubes inside the unit developed a crimp and stopped water flow. The line is crimped in 2 places, Each near the end of tube. The inside structures, which bend the line to connect to the valves are in a very poorly designed guide path, crimping the line and stopping water flow. After several trips to hardware for a good line replacement , I discovered that the newly installed line was crimping, Just like the other one. Totally unable to repair problem, wife is unset. What should I do? ... show more

For context, I am not a plumber and have very little experience connecting pipes. The hose, parts and adapters specifications are basically a foreign language to me. Having said all this, the installation process of this bidet is relatively easy, once you understand your existing setup and accept the fact that you might need to spend extra money for extra parts. Realistically speaking, once you have all parts, it really should not take you more than 20 minutes to install the bidet and if I did it I know you can too!!!! Things I wish I knew before buying a bidet: 1. The parts provided with this hot/cold water bidet may or may not be compatible with your current bathroom setup. 2. The extra adapters I needed to make this bidet work were difficult to find and were not cheap. Home Depot and Lowes did not carry them. My local hardware store did not either. Thankfully I found the needed 1/2 1/2 3/8 brass T adapter at ACE hardware for around twelve dollars. 3. The hose needed to fit the 3/8 brass T adapter was around twenty bucks at home depot. Later I discovered that you can find them cheaper online even on Amazon. Oh well... 4. I had to drill a small hole in my bathroom vanity cabinet in order to allow the hot water hose to be connected to the bidet. This was very easy to do, but did require a drill and an adequate spade drill bit. The bits are very inexpensive online provided that you already own a drill of course (which I did). 5. Do not expect the bidet set to come with everything you need. You still need tools, teflon tape and anything else that your current setup requires. This is not the seller's fault, it is just the nature of the beast as not all bathrooms follow the same standard. 6. Be careful with the hot water, or you might cook your buns. Lessons learned here. They should include a warning. Try to slow into the hot water before going all in. My buns were tender for about a day. Now as to how things work: I thoroughly tested the bidet and all functionality works well. Good water pressure and good feedback from all the dials. The aim is very precise and the water seems to hit the "bullseye" every time. I am actually a little intrigued at this. The bidet is a little on the thicker side, you may need to purchase toilet seat bumpers like I did if the toilet seat will not touch the actual toilet bowl when laid all the way flat. This is a very easy fix but something to keep in mind. ... show more

Please do yourself a favor do not buy this! Unless you’re want to just put it in the box and look at it. It doesn’t have all the required parts to install it you have to buy them extra. I’ve emailed the company gave them my phone number and they never respond back!

Make sure the sink is close enough to the toilet because you have to hook up to your hot water line under your sink, which is difficult is there is a cabinet under your sink. You will have to drill a hole

I am happy with the ease of installation, I did it myself without relying on my husband. The spray worked well with me, my husband and my 7yo daughter. Easy to install. Got this because of back problems. Wish I would of gotten it sooner. Easy to use. Spraying more than sufficient. Don't need to have sprayer turned all the way up to work well. Turned all the way up sprayer is quite strong.

This was my first bidet attempt, so there's the disclaimer.... This unit was okay, worked as advertised and had options that made installation flexible and easy. But, on our old, skinny toilet, it hung over the sides and looked bad. The flexible hole design worked well, it just was too wide for us. I used the tee on the floor stub, and it leaked. I checked the gasket, used Teflon tape... still leaked. I was going to switch to the tank-bottom tee fitting, but decided to get a different bidet. The self-cleaning was fine for the nozzle jets but didn't clean the exterior surfaces. There's a shield in front of the two nozzles and space for "stuff" to accumulate. The control panel is nice, easy to use, and stylish. On our skinny toilet it was quite a ways from the edge of the toilet, and seemed unsupported... it doesn't seem very strong. One accidental lean could break it. Maybe on a wider toilet it would fit and look better, and seem less precarious. I gave it 4 stars because it is fairly well designed and made, and works as advertised. But, for cheaper, there are simpler units out there. I did not hook it up to warm water.
