The included thin notched diamond saw blade is designed for cutting rocks and minerals such as turquoise, aqua, garnet, corundum, emerald, and ruby, while the included sintered diamond saw blade is designed for cutting pieces of glass, topaz, quartz, and fine agates. Cut and trim up to 2" in height of material!
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE SAW: A powerful 1/4 HP, heavy-duty, direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings that delivers a variable speed range of 800 - 3,400 RPM is installed in this saw to provide plenty of strength for your cuts. The coolant reservoir is integrated into the machine's base and can hold up to 16 ounces of water. The included splash guard keeps water away from you, making it easier to work. This saw accepts any 6" saw blade with a 5/8" arbor hole.

I like the ease of using this machine. The only knock is it does not have a drain plug to drain your water after each use. you have to dump the whole machine upside down. If you leave water in the blade will rust.

This little saw is awesome! I get so frustrated when buying lapidary equipment that there’s no reviews. I’m bad at reviewing but I’ll do my best. It came quick. Great packaging. Super easy to set up. There’s informational videos online. They have great customer service. I always have to talk to people otherwise I have a hard time understanding. It cuts great! So far we’ve cut Oregon fire opal. An Australian opal. Some pet wood. We plan on more! ... show more

This is a great saw for a beginner in Lapidary materials. The machine is very simple to use, consistent, and easy to clean (though it would be easier if the water tub could be removed for dumping). The only downside is the blade the the machine comes with only lasted a couple of cuts before it was worn down. Very happy though! Now I just need to get a better blade! ... show more
