They are comphortable once you put an insert in them for more cushion. Yet the support your feet well easy on off, I have been wearing them daily for over a month now. Your feet stay dry. They keep your feet warm in cooler weather. However with that being said they seem to Hold the warmth and that could be a problem during the summer months. We shall see. Diffenantly a good buy. I wear them on the job ant they work well with that also.

Just received. Seem good value for the price. Fit as expected, good size toe box. Might have chosen wide if I'd used try before buy, but these aren't uncomfortable. Not planning to hike the Appalachian Trail - just use them for birding and day hikes, and on initial inspection I expect them to last the season. Don't understand the nattering on about not being waterproof. Of course they're not waterproof - they're mesh. We apply a good water-repellent spray to any boot we buy - a spritz every couple of uses = dry feet. Have used for a while now - adding a star. These are a great value. Perfect weight for summer. Still sturdy and protective. Will buy again.

Fit is nice (11.5) . Have not had a chance to wear them for long so not sure about durability or waterproof-ability yet. They do look to be very nicely constructed, not a stitch out of place or hanging thread on this pair. They look great. I'm pretty sure they'll hold up good and if so, they'd certainly be a great deal for the price. I bought my first of HI-TECH boots in the early 1990s (what a fun period of time). But they've always held up great. I've always been impressed with HI-TECs style/appearance. They make a good looking boot. I'm stickin' with 'em, cause I lllike 'em. Thanks HI-TEC store!

I have been very pleased with these hiking boots. They are comfortable and fit well while I am climbing road cuts and digging geodes and quartz! They have kept my feet dry!

The good, these boots were a good fit and very comfortable from the beginning. The bad, there was almost no level of waterproof or even water resistance. The sole started ripping off from the front in about 5 weeks if that. I do work outside but it's not rough terrain or anything of the sort maybe some light mud or gravel here or there. Got a $35 pair of boots from Walmart thst held up better than these and kept my feet dry. If you can get them cheap it might be worth it just don't expect longevity unless you're walking on carpet most of the day.
