I purchased these a while back, and they have become hard to adjust. They are no comparison to the Bremen Brand I purchased from Harbor Freight, which are still smooth and easy to adjust, even though I've had them longer but they also cost more. I use these when I must and they work but will buy the Bremen Brand as I need more, or these get just too unbearable to use. I would not recommend these for the long run.

I have been using these guys outside for 2 years (rain and snow). Just a hint of tarnish and they work fine. You can see I am using them not just as clamps but as part of a hoist and they get a work out they can lift (pair) 400lbs easy. I was building the hoist and using these clamps for welding. I was trying to come up with some kind of universal barrel/can hooks for the yoke when she said it... "why not weld the clamp to the chain?". I got her a welder of her own. These guys are tough, no deflection, or twist at all... They do have a wicked pinch point on the hinged arm, I have got a few good "bites" but for the price...

Can definitely tell they are cheaper made but for the price I'm not complaining, especially as many as you get. Im a welder by trade and I use these quite a bit. They clamp and hold good just don't try to twist them because they will bend easy.

Honestly, they're not the greatest quality, but for the price - hell yeah! They work, there's lots of 'em, and the price can't be beat. This is my second 10-pack I've bought, simply because I'm always needing more clamps for welding projects and they're only $5 bucks a piece. I've actually took a few of them and cut off 1 arm and welded a 5/8" rod to the bottom of the clamp and I'm using some of them for fixture clamps on the welding table. Again, for the price? A no-brainer. If they bend or break, they'll go in the garbage and I'll buy more!

I had four smaller 6 inch clamps like this and found myself always needing more. Used these several times and they’ve worked well. Not a lifetime warranted high quality plier, but they hold stuff tight so you can weld it. The best part is that you get a lot of them because sometimes it’s nice to put the pieces of something like a welding cart that you’re making together so it draws less while you tack and then weld it together. I made brackets to adapt a snowplow mount to my truck and used them to hold the two bracket halves straight and flat so I could get them welded without warping them. Very useful.
