    • They sound GREAT and last a long time on a charge, but there are a few annoying features

For the price they sound GREAT and the battery lasts a long time on a charge. I haven't tested the 40 hours they claim but no complaint on the battery. A few annoying features 1) When you're done listening you have to power it off. It doesn't seem to power itself down when you disconnect, you have to press the power button and 2) I never want the light show that the speaker offers. The only way to turn it off is each time you power the speakers on you need to press the power switch a few more times to turn the light show off. It would be great if they remember your last 'light mode' . I'd give this 5 stars other than these issues. I'm keeping the product as the great sound, water proof level and great battery make these annoying features bearable. Correction:- if you disconnect your cell phone after a few minutes the speaker will power down so no need to turn it off unless you want to. ... show more

The first one I purchased (black color) was excellent, then my WIFE wanted to use it. After, about three/four minutes, "I want one of these. Is it expensive"? Me: "here it is, no not expensive at all". Wife: You can get it for me. It'll be a late Birthday Present (her BD was 7/11) from you. Long story short: it's a very good quality Bluetooth speaker, (two can be combined/linked for Stereo, I purchased the Pink one for her). I bought this as a gift for my teenager, he was always going to the skatepark and I overheard him saying that he wished there was some music there. It seemed like a great moment for this mama to get some "cool points" so I ordered this portable speaker for him. He was so excited when this gift arrived and starting using it immediately. He loves that this speaker charges quickly, isn't very large/heavy, the battery lasts a long time but best of all the sound quality is GREAT. My husband gifted me this in December '23, it is now June '24 and the speaker doesn't work unless it is plugged in. I make sure it is fully charged before I try to use it, but it won't turn on unless it is plugged to a power source. It hasn't ever been fully wet, just on a top shelf in the shower away from direct water and I always made sure it was properly sealed. I'm super bummed because I loved this little thing.     • Finally, a long-lasting charge

I have a celtic blu tallboy and wanted another but they are nowhere to be had. Researching other speakers to find something simular, I ordered and returned about 6, due to not living up to their Ads in either wattage or single playtime charge. This Heysong speaker is far above the rest. 1 full charge lasted 38 and 1/2hrs. at half volume with no lights (close enough to the 40hrs in the Ad to keep me happy). The 16 watts sounds more like 25. TF/Micro SD slot allows me to play my own playlists when I cannot use phone. Being waterproof is great as I take my speaker(s) on 2-3 day backpacking/camping trips and long-distance bicycle rides (fits great in bike's water-bottle cage). Wanted another good speaker for the outdoors (already have a nice stereo at home) and now I've got it. This HEYSONG fits the bill and was only half the price of the Celtic Blu. I think I'll have to order another before they sell out. ... show more
