I had a costumed birthday party last month and needed a cute, but quick-arriving costume. I was so thankful to have come across this absolutely adorable Minion one. It came w a hat, goggles, suspenders, gloves, leg warmers, and a tutu. All of the pieces are of good quality and comfortable to wear. The suspenders and goggles are adjustable, while the gloves, hat, leg warmers, and tutu are all made of super-stretchy materials. The costume is very versatile being ‘just’ the accessories - you can dress it up to make it fun and flirty, dress it down for a more conservative look, or somewhere in between … making it a great option for kids and adults alike! I love that I use some of my own pieces like the shirt and bottoms. I can get really hot in some other costumes, but don’t want to miss out being able to having a cute costume option like everyone else. This costume fit the bill and I got a bunch of compliments, but really … who doesn’t love a Minion?!

We own a lot of costumes, and it seems that we procure more every October. This acquisition was well out of the normal cycle as we found ourselves in need of something in March. My son's ski team wanted to do a fun costume day before the season ends so they all came to the slopes decked out in their costume of choice. For what we needed, this costume worked out well but I'm not sure it is perfect for everyone. Likes: - The cap was large enough to fit over a helmet. It would probably work on a head as well, but it stretches nicely. - The googles fit over the ski googles and would also fit onto a normal sized head. - The suspenders worked well. They stretched enough to be secured on the front and the back. The clasps were easy to use and held them in place nicely. No Opinion: - The leggings are soft and stretchy. We did not need them for our purpose, but I can see how they would be beneficial for the general costume look. - The Tutu is also a nice part of the costume that we did not utilize but it is a good addition if you want that minion style. My son wanted to skip it as he felt it would impede his skiing. You do get the feeling it would hold its shape given the material. - The gloves are just normal light weight cotton gloves. They seem a tad small but would work for most. Dislikes: - The costume does not have any body components. We had to procure a large T-shirt from a local store to compliment the outfit. This is probably by design as they would need to provide multiple sizes. This is just the components that are universal, but the other items need to be self-provided. - My son noted that the googles worked well for his purpose, but they do not have any contour and would feel uncomfortable on the face. For our purposes, this costume worked out great. My son got a lot of compliments on the slopes, and he even had people calling out to him from the lifts. I would say it was a success and should work for your purposes as well.

This costume is adorable and surprisingly comfortable. I love that you wear your own clothes as the base and then these accessories turn you into a minion. It makes it way easier (and comfier) than a full costume, which I especially appreciate as the stay-at-home candy distributor on Halloween. Even though it’s listed as one size, everything actually fits very well due to adjustable features. I’m 5'11" and on the thicker side, so I had my doubts, but the pieces are very forgiving. The tutu has a stretchy elastic waistband, the leg warmers are soft and warm for a chilly October night, and the suspenders can be adjusted longer or shorter. The hat stretches and has pipe cleaners on top so you can shape them however you want, and the goggles have an adjustable band and feel surprisingly sturdy. Basically, everything adjusts except the gloves. Overall, it’s a really fun costume that’s comfortable to wear for hours and easy to make your own. Can't wait to hand out candy in this fun fit!

Laying all the pieces out, you get the full character-inspired setup: beanie, tutu skirt, suspenders, stockings, goggles, and gloves. Once everything is put together, it definitely creates the recognizable costume look. Some of the pieces feel a bit lightweight, especially the tutu and stockings, which seem more suited for occasional costume use rather than repeated wear. It works well for a themed event or party but isn’t the most durable costume set.
