  • Feral-Tested, Outdoor-Approved, Apparently Indestructible
Size: 43.3 inch Color: Light Gray
I bought this for a stray feral mom cat and her newborn kittens who decided our small backyard was the perfect place to raise a family. We are very allergic to cats, but I couldn’t stand the idea of them being cold, unsafe, hungry, or without water, so we did what we could to help. We did attempt to trap or catch momma and the babies, but that mission was very quickly shut down by momma kitty, so Plan B became making sure they were well-fed, hydrated, and as comfortable as possible where they were. We built them an outdoor shelter — an insulated, weatherproof crate/house with a heated bed inside, food and fresh water, lots of toys, and a separate area for a litter box. This cat tree lived right next to that setup. Shockingly, it held up incredibly well — fog, heavy dew, and multiple rainstorms, completely uncovered and exposed to the elements. For context, I live in San Diego, where the weather is basically bipolar. It can be 90° in October, then 42°, rainy, windy, and cold the next week… followed by dry heat again. I fully expected this thing to fade, mold, warp, or fall apart. It didn’t. The mom and kittens loved it. For feral cats who had never seen a cat tower, toys, or even a real bed, watching them climb, explore, and slowly figure out how to play on it was honestly pretty special. They used it constantly. Eventually, mom cat left once the kittens were weaned (she absolutely refused to be captured or tricked indoors — still makes me sad). When the babies were old enough, we were able to safely capture them. Our neighbor adopted both kittens, and the cat tree went with them. It’s now sitting on a covered, screened-in porch and is still going strong. A few practical notes: Directions aren’t great, but assembly was mostly straightforward and took about 30 minutes (with a few head-scratching moments) Comes with a spare dangly mouse toy This thing is heavy and very sturdy If you have large adult cats or more than one cat, I highly recommend securing it to a wall or floor indoors It does come with mounting hardware, but honestly… replace it Get better anchors and screws from Home Depot or Lowe’s, or use a baby-proof furniture wall-secure mount from Amazon Trust me — the included hardware is cheap, and the last thing you want is a ripped-out wall, a crushed cat, or money spent fixing giant holes. Save yourself the drama. Materials feel thick and well-made The real surprise: it’s been 4 months, including three separate rainstorms, and there’s no rot, no mold, no warping, no weakening, and barely any fading. It honestly still looks close to brand new. If it can survive outdoor weather, feral kittens, San Diego heat swings, rain, and daily use, I feel very confident saying that indoors, this would be a long-lasting, solid cat tree. Would absolutely recommend and buy again — even for cats that technically weren’t mine. 🐾 ... show more

  • Easy to put together and super soft, my bug loves it
My cat absolutely loves this cat tower, it’s so cute and thick, it’s a very easy cat tree to put together but it took me and my partner, there was no missing pieces in mine and my cat loves to scratch on it, it has that nice stuff he can catch all over it but he loves the top more, it’s about to my chest and I’m 5’4 so it’s definitely taller than I thought it was going to be, it was definitely worth the money to make my cat happy ... show more

  • Compact, cute, mostly easy to assemble with one small exception
I like this cat tree, it's very small although it is unstable (we ended up putting weights at the bottom to keep it from shearing off to the side when one or two of our 8-lb cats would sit in it), though it does seem sturdy. However putting it together was a bit of a pain- it was mostly easy but the instructions are inaccurate with the big square bases. They do not show that the bases are different in screw/hole placement in the list of parts or in the actual instruction pages themselves, which led to me rather annoyingly having to deconstruct basically the whole thing and put it together again. That was a bit of a headache, and an avoidable one too because otherwise the instructions are completely servicable! Otherwise though I like it, though probably best for smaller cats, this thing is itty bitty. Our cats (ranging 7-10lbs) fit in it well but they prefer snug spaces and don't sprawl very much, but yours may be different and a big tom cat is unlikely to fit comfortably at all. ... show more

  • Very, very soft!
The media could not be loaded. I am very experienced putting furniture and cat trees together. This was slightly trickier because holes were not put all the way through the fabric; because the poles were not exactly square when attached, which made adding the next level slightly tricky; and because poles needed to be attached to the condo interiors. For the 1st issue, a pair of scissors poking a hole through the fabric was the quickest and easiest fix. For the 2nd issue, the poles lined up with the holes of each subsequent level with just a gentle touch. The hardest parts of the assembly are the condo levels (issue 3). It came flat, and small poles needed to be attached to each corner inside the condo with screws attached to both top and bottom. I quickly realized it was easier to attach the poles if I screwed in the top screw first. For unexperienced cat tree builders, I recommend attaching diagonal poles first. I did have someone help me hold the condo "roof" up when I attached the 1st 2 poles. In the end, it went together fairly easily, and as you can see from the pics and video, it didn't take long for our kitty to settle in. This is a great cat condo if you use a gentle touch and remember not to overtighten the screws. It feels sturdy and is big enough for an almost full-grown cat. One thing that surprised me is that the hammock (both of them) material stretches more than I was anticipating. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time. I anticipate it getting holes. For reference, our cat is about 9 pounds in the pics/video. He has plenty of room to stretch out on all levels. I believe this cat tree would also be big enough for much larger cats, as well. The tree overall has a fairly small footprint but quite a bit of height, which I appreciate. Overall, I give this cat tree 4.5 stars. ... show more

  • A little small but good quality
Size: 43.3 inch Color: Smoky Gray
Easy to put together, cat loved it when I first set it up and still uses it almost daily. Downsides are that it falls down easily if she jumps on the top or plays roughly on it, fyi shes small, less than 10lbs and even for a small kitty its still small for her to play on. Quality is good overall but the rope is falling off on 1 leg after several months of her scratching on it, I think that's normal though with long term use. The blue fabric is thick, soft, and looks nice. No missing parts. ... show more
